A bus hit a rented car

A bus hit a rented car. The investigation has been going on for 3 months and there is no information or answers. I will advise my clients to contact SURE insurance agency. Do not deal with these guys. You will only get problems and no claims payout. Therefore, I will most likely prohibit my clients from accepting insurance from Bonza if they have it.

Renter got into an accident with my vehicle and she has their insurance but they won't cover it because there wasn't another vehicle involved! This should be illegal for people to purchase insurance from a 3rd party specifically for a rental car, but not be considered full coverage.

The communication is awful. The agent kept replying to my email with lack of understanding of what I needed and there is no phone communication. Also took it upon his self to cancel my policy without me requesting it. Frustrating

Hello Robin, thanks for the review. Sorry to hear about your experience. It appears you had purchase PAI (personal accident insurance) whereas the PAI policy won't actually cover you if you have an accident with your rental, and it won't cover an accident with a 3rd party either. Granted the agent should make that clear to you so that you aren't buying insurance that won't cover your rental car. To cover your rental - you'd really need to buy CDW (damage insurance) & RCLI (state minimum liability) That being said - PAI is still useful along with rental car insurance - see below: Renter Loss of Life - $50,000 Passenger Loss of Life - $5,000 Accidental Medical Expense - $1,000 Personal Effects Coverage - $500 And to be really transparent - we've had lots of Uber, Lyft, Doordash drivers who try to buy PAI (because they wanted to have at least some insurance while driving their vehicle. However our insurance policies do not cover any of of these types of rentals. Safe travels! Bonzah Team

Never had a problem signing up to get insurance for my rentals. Although the terminology can be confusing varying from how its said from state to state. I feel im getting the correct service.

Hello Tracey, thanks for the detailed review. You are right, it can be a little confusing given the types of options we provide. We try to make sure the correct coverage is taken up by renters so as to avoid insurance that doesn't cover the renters needs. Safe travels! Bonzah Team
