Unfair price for an aged tattered book

I ordered at $5 book and paid for shipping ---the book came in a timely manner thus 2 stars instead of 1. The book on the other hand... Lets just say it was worth about .50¢! I seriously cannot believe y'all charged $5.00 for an old tattered worn out book!! $9.00 total with shipping :( I used you guys because of your close proximity to the DMV --- Since your price structure is so Outrageously out of proportion, I will not be using Book Run again! Unless of course I am refunded the price of the book. UPDATE after 'Books Run' reply: I reached out to you after I received the book and ...I have only heard crickets!!

The book arrived quickly and in great…

The book arrived quickly and in great shape! I subtracted one star because it had no cardboard protection, which was taking a big risk (with any book or media) that it could have been damaged in transit, but since it turned out OK this time, I'll let it go.

Poor packaging

The cd I ordered arrived in a plastic envelope with no bubbles or any extra padding. Due to the poor packaging, the cd case was broken when it arrived. Thankfully the cds are still in tact, but the case is a mess! Quite disappointed with the experience…

This book was rated in Very Good shape. I get many, many books with this rating and am usually pleased. I was disappointed. I would have rated it Good. The spine was frayed, some of the pages in the book were sticky and dirty. I will be much more tentative about ordering a book from Book Run again.

The Narnia Chronicles CDs arrived just…

The Narnia Chronicles CDs arrived just in time. I ordered a set that advertised Very Good as it was a present. However what was probably a very nice boxed set was shipped in a flimsy plastic bag with no protection for the box inside except perhaps potential water damage. The gift box looked well worn with crushed corners, sprung cardboard lid etc. Crushable items should be shipped in a protective box, not a plastic sack. I’ll have to consider carefully next time if I order from this company.
