I signed on 2019

I signed on to Care.com summer 2019 , I had been a special needs teacher and a nonprofit preschool in Santa Cruz , my school closed and I was a shared nanny for 10 family’s We made it work. I moved to Washington 2019 and was sad I needed kids in my care , So I signed on to Care.com with in an hour a message came to my phone there’s a little child looking for a nanny less than a mile away and that mommy got the same message there a nanny looking for a child less than a mile away We met it was magic and he is still my child Tho he has moved away I will always be his nanny. But it goes on we were looking for some more kids and I kept seeing this moms post she had 3 kids so I asked my child should we get more kids? We met them they became our posse we roll with 4 Then another mom found us we add 2 more then 2 more then 2 ,2 Summer 2023 we had a 12 kid posse Now some have age out but we are all still connected through Care.com Years go by this is a safe site to find your forever nanny

Sometimes it’s hard to get a client because there is too many people applying for the same position. And many times you don’t get a response for months, making me think that my account is being blocked from being viewed?

I found my Nanny family and they found me super easy through CARE.com. Also, payroll and taxes are so easy, I barely thought about it, and my taxes were filed easily through CARES payroll system that my family pays for as a benefit to me.

I have advertised my services on Care.com for several years. I can say if there’s ever a problem, you can contact them and they are very willing to help in any way they can. Care.com has been very supportive and helpful with finding work. I would definitely recommend Care.com to anyone needing to find work.

I highly recommend Care.com. With this platform, I was able to quickly see profiles on caregivers for my elderly and disabled mom. The extensive info and photos gave me very quick and easy insight into the person, their capabilities, experience, and reviews. I could reach out to schedule interviews easily. I only need a person for about an hour a day, M - F, so using Care.com saved the cost of minimum hours using a service that required more hours and more expense. I also have found that working with a service is just as time-consuming as working directly with an individual. If there are problems, it's still talking it and coming up with solutions. With Care.com, I do that directly with the caregiver. I hired a caregiver who has been outstanding so far. I'm very pleased.

Came for the bread, stayed for the chili!

I came looking for a housekeeper but realized there were other other vocations represented. My Mother is at the end stage of life in another state. My father, though sharp as a tack, is not tech savvy. I found a care giver on Care.com that is so perfectly alligned with his/our needs that it seemed to good to be true. I knew there had to be a place that housed quality profesionals and this site continues to pay us back in time saved and potential regret. We chat with people and can add additional vetting if needed. On the housekeeping side, I did make an error and sent the wrong person my home cleaning project. Because it was my error, I tried them anyway. They were mediocre and I have since reached back out to the correct person. If you read, chat and vet the person, this site is a game changer.

We contacted Care.com for a pet sitting…

We contacted Care.com for a pet sitting need. We have a young teenage cat, and a 21 year old female cat. We got a response the next day, with a picture of the caregiver, and a note saying she lived 3 blocks away, and would love to care for out cats neefs before, and after her day job. We met her in person to show her around, and any questions or details. She eas super nice, asking about our wedding photos, and church baptism photos. During our travels, the girl sent video updates of both cats, happy and calm. She even offered to wash dishes and vacuum. We would not hesitate to call again, and neither should you. Thank you Care.com

Successful in finding a qualified applicant

I received a number of resumes and most of them were potentially viable. The experience summaries given by the applicants was very helpful. The reviews by former employers were extremely helpful in determining who to interview.

Care.com made it easy

Care.com made it easy to find a caregiver for my Mom. The website is easy to navigate and it provided a platform to interview and finalize my choices.

I was unable to read messages unless I had a paid subscription. Subscription is out of reach for me. I decided to close my account. I then got an email saying they had removed me because I violated community standards. Very odd. If I am ever in a position to pay a ridiculous amount for a subscription, it certainly won’t be with this site.

While the app is great about putting people in front of you, th user aspect needs some work. It is still a very basic construct, and you cant really do your "work" on it. It did serve its purpose, and we were able to find help, which was great. It just isnt the smoothest on either side of it as a care seeker or care taker.

This platform is good and recommended it but if you’re new in this business you need to have a good skills to negotiate with the customers because they want to pay the minimum.
