My experience with Care.com was extremely easy. The assistants were friendly and most helpful. If I had any questions, I was assisted right away and given the support I needed. I felt secure moving about my account and the website. Care.com gave me many choices of people to hire for the position I was looking for. I was able to talk over the phone with these people or have a live chat with them. This was a great experience.

Care.com is an important resource for families seeking carers. Success is measured by the quality of the job posting and of the description of the caregiver. People can exchange basic information to determine the suitability of the job for the carer, and of the carer for the job. Video interviews are hard to schedule if one or both parties are slow to respond, so watch carefully and respond promptly.

I've used Care.com for a number of years. I've connected with families I have been with for years, and others that didn't work out. But that's okay, because I knew that I would quickly be able to reach out to other families through Care.com!
However, the app can be difficult to use. It frequently glitches i.e. not showing chats with others, not sending messages, crashing. Additionally, there were some users I wished to report because of concerning profiles. It was unclear what I could do to ensure the site can check these profiles.
I wish there was a feature to remove families you aren't interested in within the search section of the app. It was challenging sifting through families I already knew I did not want to work with.
Overall, I appreciate Care.com for the outreach but think the app needs serious reconfiguration to be user-friendly.

Care.com charged my Visa for an annual renewal before reminding me that they were going to. Beware if you're thinking about working with them.

We have found multiple fantastic caregivers on Care.com for our disabled son. It has truly been an easy and rewarding experience to use their site and we have been so fortunate to find caring and supportive individuals. All the times I’ve used the site I’ve found a candidate within 30 days . 100 % recommend!!

I love Care.com. Several times I have been warned by them that a person was a potential scammer. Care.com immediately deleted their account and blocked them from being able to communicate with me anymore. It makes me feel so much safer using the app. Also it's so easy to use the app and connect with people who need a Nanny.

They have apparently been charging my sister $47.40 / month for TEN years for an account she NEVER USED! SO again, charging for services NEVER RECEIVED. She had her won business and worked 100+ hour weeks, so she missed this. They are of course, refusing to refund charges for NO SERVICES AT ALL. A total SCAM.
UPDATE: Care.com wrote the response below to apparently just look like they would help, but we followed their directions and get no responses at all. They are apparently locked down and refusing to refund a penny.

Care.com had been great for me. I have found many families that have helped grow into a better person and I have also have their kids grow into better human beings at the same time. I did only do 4 stars because I had an old account and had issues with that account. But now they I have this new account there isn’t anything wrong it’s going well. I am currently working with 2 family’s that will both equal up to full time hours/job. And I am really enjoying working with both families. I will stay on care.com as long as I can.

I’ve had previous experience with Care.com as a nanny / babysitter and enjoyed the service. This was my first time as a seeker and it was a very smooth, easy experience. I was fortunate to have numerous applicants and found a nanny who we trust. I also utilized the video feature for a virtual interview of one applicant and it worked great. Would definitely recommend and use again!

I love all the jobs, but it is very rare that the families reply to you. A lot of us have talked about it, and everyone says the same. The other one is that the family reaches out 3 months later, well that’s a little long.

It was good the only is you still showing old advise and some of the family never respond or after the interview dont said nothing.
But after that help a lot searching for a job.

Care.com has been a godsend in connecting us with potential caregivers for my Mom. The app has great search criteria. Some responses come quickly, some of the caregivers are available on short notice as well as long term. The options to respond are simple and easy to follow in messages.

I spent all this time setting up an account, putting all my information and all these people keep trying to contact me but I can't get a hold of the customer support through care.com. they send you an email saying they will get back to you in a few hours. I've sent one email everyday for a week and haven't heard anything back. There is no phone number or support available that I can find. I would never do business with a company like this. Seems like a big scam.
