Easy to navigate the website to search for local jobs. Utilizing the tools to narrow my search for specific criteria expedites the process. I can update my profile, add photos, and adjust my services accordingly. Messages are efficient; notification via email works well, and allowing phone number sharing was a great addition.
I’ve used customer service a few times; each time was due to suspicious activity. They worked within 2 days to address the issue.
Cons; I have noted an increase in suspicious profiles over the last year, asking my age, location etc. questions care seekers do not ask. Care seekers could use more help or template to post needs. Some display they need 40 hrs of service when it’s only 5 hours a week, they post vague descriptions that question applying and others select every need and offer $10 an hour. I can only speak from a job seekers perspective, however, I have used Care.com since 2010. I have worked with a variety of people in different states as my husbands career moves us about the United States. I have meet some extraordinary families through Care.com. Overall I am satisfied.

I have been a Nanny for 3 different families through Care.com. My experiences have been very positive, I have been employed for many years, And I am still working for a wonderful family with 4 kids! I would highly recommend Care.com for either looking for employment, or finding the right person for your specific needs.

This site was excellent for finding household help. I found someone to work with who was just lovely. It's great to have the ratings system so you know you are hiring good people who you can count on. And it makes it possible to find people at affordable rates.
As a care giver, I had received many job offers for pet care, children care and house manager work. I had been in contact with wonderful pet owners and parents. I had access to the platform since June 2026 starting in Orlando and now in DC. I am very grateful with care.com's opportunities for work.

Care.com suspended my account, and I have emailed them many times asking for help. I provided information about my situation, but I still have not received a fair resolution. I feel that I was judged instead of being given an opportunity to explain myself. Their customer service should communicate more clearly, review each case fairly, and respond promptly. After my account was closed, I felt that I was not treated fairly. I am concerned that discrimination may have influenced the decision,

This is a scam. They don't even have customer service. No number is listed and the "agents" are not available to chat. They take your money without any issues but when you try to use the services, suddenly they have to verify everything. And then your phone isn't the right phone and your camera isn't working except you just verified it was. Complete scam.

Deceptive enrollment flow led to me getting charged for a second product I never intended to purchase. 3 separate immediate requests to reverse were denied. Contesting directly with the credit card company. Terrible customer experience

The clients I interviewed with were very nice and I was able to talk to them about how I would take care if their loved ones. And they would not have to worry.

The app is great for finding childcare, pet care, and senior care opportunities whether it is reoccurring or one-time.
If I had to pick one thing that could improve, is for the app to send a reminder notification to the person hiring to update their requested job postings (hiring closed, start date update, specific breed of animal needing care, not interested in caregiver, etc) so that caregivers can easily decide on moving on to the next available opportunity. If update isn’t made, or deleted after it’s pasted start date, these postings are then just crowding the posts of people who are seeking care immediately/soon.
Overall, I do enjoy using this app, it’s very easy to use.

Update: they continue to spout lies and falsehoods in their responses to me. Again, I would advise ANYONE considering any kind of membership with this “organization” to RUN the other way. They will take your money and never stop charging you. And if you think I’m an isolated case, Google this issue and look at their reviews and look at Reddit. Thousands of people have been defrauded by them.
Update: Absolutely useless response. Called the number below, with my reference number and the person knew nothing. Kept me on the line for 15 minutes only to then say again a supervisor will call me within two day. Complete SCAM!
Care.com is a fraudulent. DO NOT SIGN UP, THEY WILL NEVER STOP CHARGING YOU. I have tried cancelling for months and never could. The charges kept coming. I spoke with Oscar today and finally was able to get my account cancelled but when I asked for a refund of past charges I was told I would get a call back within two days. We all know that means nothing.

Everything about Care.com in my experience for the last couple years has been very good! The specifics needed/necessary to create my profile made it easier to create in the application process.
One issue I would mention is that the review process has a glitch somewhere.
