It was so easy to find and chat with a variety of qualified nannies and babysitters for our son. Care.com helped keep the search organized and also gave us confidence knowing that they had already passed background checks :)

Care.com have helped me find short & long term great jobs for 13 yrs now. Finding jobs and getting hired is easy. You would encounter scammers once in a while, but they act on it once you complain. I'm so grateful! I have actually referred some of my friends to use this app and they are grateful with their experiences as well!

Care.com basically saved our butts when my dad broke his foot. My dad is full-time caregiver for my disabled mother, and suddenly he was unable to take care of her. Caregiver agencies refused to work with us because we do not own a Hoyer lift. However, we received numerous applications on this site from caregivers willing to accommodate our specifications. We found an amazing caregiver on the site and have plenty of other possible options too. The monthly fee is really steep, but this site works if you are in a pinch like we were.

Always a waste of time. They ask all this information and then there is an error to submit and then the page goes to an ad to get their service. Like, ask up front before I have you all my info. Thanks for nothing for childcare AND cleaning

Beware! I was looking for a cleaner and signed up for one month £25, or so I thought. I received an email telling me I was signed up for unlimited monthly payments. I contacted my credit card company who told me to email Care.com and give them 7 days to reply.
no response. Consequently I contacted my credit card again and was put through to there fraud department and now my credit card has been cancelled and Care.com blocked. This process has been very upsetting and I consider Care.com to be untrusty and somewhat disingenuous.

Would have given zero rating if I could. They do fraud recurring charges. I used their service just once in 2022 and i was not at all satisfied. They sent a college kid who had no clue how to take care of child. Irrespective I paid good tip and stopped using them. What I didn't realize was that they charged me annually every year since and for past 5 years I have been paying 165 dollar for annual charge for something I don't even use. I noticed only when I logged into my credit card. They don't send any invoice or anything which would remotely show this. And when I raised complaint they didn't anything

I subscribed for premium service membership as a caregiver and paid thru APPLE PAY and a debit card. 3 days pass they have my transaction on hold and membership still stuck on GUEST tier. I called customer service twice and are incapable of doing anything nor they cannot refer me to Tier 2 billing which my Bank has told me to have me referred to. Their customer support is ZERO stars and agents are not able to refer you to someone who can resolve the problem. Absolutely FLABBERGASTED by POOR SERVICE and they said that I need to wait 24 to 48 hours for someone to “reach” me about this problem. That is one hour DELAYED and is an INJUSTICE to those who have paid for their services. They punish customers by being INEPT! Terrible! Do not subscribe to their premium monthly membership. Their business model is just downright nasty and ineptitude of their customer support is astronomical. Beware!

The fee to sign up was not too bad, but it took me a bit to find the right person. I had people who responded to my job, but when I set up the interview, I never heard back from them. The person that I ended up meeting was divine intervention. She was someone that had responded back a while ago and I just happened to scroll down and saw her and sent her a message, which she responded to right away.

Care.com made it easy for me to find a dependable housekeeper. My only issue with it is that it's a little expensive to use, but for people seeking something as consequential as child care or elder care, the benefits they provide (background checks etc.) are a huge value for the money.

Smooth process to find the right household assistant
Excellent process finding a householder assistant through Care.com. Although it was a little confusing on how to initially categorize my job search (I ended up selecting "Housecleaning" vs Childcare or Senior care), the process from there was smooth. I received ample inbound interest and was able to easily sift through candidates as well as arrange phone calls for interviews. I found the right candidate in about two weeks and have comfort knowing that care.com has already conducted a background check on her.

If you pay for the premium subscription you won’t be refunded a penny no matter your circumstances, even if you are not matched with the correct people, if you have specific requirements don’t sign up with them
It’s an okay app. I get some offers but it’s get responses quickly after applying for so many.

Absolutely awful. I signed up (which they allowed) but there were no nannies in my area. I wasted money and they refused to refund despite not fulfilling their service. Will be contacting BBB. Poor customer service, poor product, do not use.
