DO NOT use this company
DO NOT use this company. Worst experience imaginable. We ended up with two car loans on a single vehicle because they refused to send the funds to our current lien holder. No proper guidance, no instructions, and so on. We ended up threatening legal action and they recanted everything without our approval and now we have a hard pull on our credit as well as a second loan for the same vehicle on our reports! This place deserves negative stars.
Great Refinance Experience
The people we dealt with were knowledgeable, courteous, and answered all our questions. The process was quick and everything was explained thoroughly. Prior to this I had never heard of Caribou and I was a little reluctant to choose them to refinance our car. I heard about them through Credit Karma and we decided to try them. I'm glad we did and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to refinance.

Mashed potatoes and gravy! I couldn't be happier with Caribou. They hooked me up with a credit union that offered an interest rate over two points lower than my current rate. My car payment dropped $65 dollars a month and the loan will still be paid off in the same amount of time. That even factors in the addition of Gap Coverage, which they did talk me into but it seemed like a good idea.

0/10 don’t recommend
Multiple times my application has been “expired” without further direction or notification after hard-checking my credit. My loan officer has been extremely unhelpful in terms of communication during this process. I would recommend using literally ANY other company for your refinancing.
