The only reason I had to order new metal plates is that when I changed my phone case, the previous Carmount plates would NOT come off! Trust me I tried because I'm big on upcycling!! Received my new plates in quick order and combined with my original Carmount holder, my phone stays secure in my vehicle as I drive the rough roads in my area. Couldn't be happier with the product and looking now at the new Clutch-X mount for my wife and 2 kids, and one for me just because I think it's a cool idea!
The plates holding on so well they wouldn't let go of the old case - honestly not the worst problem to have. I have several of the Clutch X mounts within my family. I had an issue where the mount arm would slowly fall down under the weight of my phone. Customer service were great and organised a replacement. Very happy with the product and service.

Great phone mount for the car. Well worth the money spent - strong magnet and the phone goes nowhere. No sticky mess, no residue, no need to slaver all about the sucker to get good adhesion to the windscreen. Defo be getting another for my van. 👌🏻 Top bit of kit. Highley recommend.

Like most I tried many phone mounts in the car over the years but those days are now behind me having found Carmount. I have two in my car, the small magnetic one which is on the dash very discreetly and a larger swivel mount that sticks to the windscreen for when I'm using Waze. Both brilliant, both feel as they'll last forever. Can't speak highly enough of these products and no, I'm not being paid!

I saw an add for Carmount on Facebook. I was impressed with what I saw so I thought I’d order one, just to try it out. When it arrived I was immediately impressed! Not a single piece is plastic! This thing is all-metal and well built! Exceptionally strong suction mount! I went with a spring-cradle mount instead of a magnetic mount. The spring holding the phone in place is exceptionally strong. I bought a second mount for my other vehicle! I did have a mechanical issue with the original one I purchased. Completely my fault! I ended up ordering two (one for my 2nd vehicle and to replace the original one I broke). I contacted customer service and asked if they wanted the one back that I broke. Was outside of the return/exchange window. Didn’t ask for and wasn’t expecting anything. I just wanted to know if they wanted it back. Ended up speaking with Charlie. Explained the situation concerning the one I broke. Said I wasn’t changing my order but was curious if they wanted it back. Charlie told me to keep the broken one and credited my order the price of one. So basically I paid for one but received two. Ordering was easy, exceptionally strong, robust product and Charlie from customer service was outstanding!! Impossible to go wrong with any of that! Thanks to Carmount and to Charlie!

Had mine for at least a month. The magnet they give you to attach to your phone case if you have an android is good and strong. The adhesive, as you may expect, doesn't hold up very well in hot hot places like Florida (and my AC doesn't work so it just melted right off) but in the early morning I super glued the magnet back on and got out of Florida. No problems with the mount since then. The 12v type C adapter for my phone charger however, only seems to work at some angles. Great, functional product otherwise.
