Charlie handled my delivery problem with so much professional poise and joy, that my dissapointment turned to joy, when offered a new shipping solution! Instead of trying to send my returned to sender package back to me with the same shipper, Charlie asked if USPS had better access to the building - and it was sent and delivered the next day! The best phone mounts you will ever use. I bought mine years ago after trying so many other brands of phone mounts and they are easily the best, and I mean its not even close. I loved my mount so much I bought extras so friends and family could try it and theyre still going string! So sleak and compact they take up hardly any room at all. After years of using these mounts the absolute one and only complaint I can think of, is I dont have an excuse to buy another one. I will never waste my time or money trying out another car mount again and neither should you. If youre not already using Carmounts phone mounts, then what are you doing? P.S. the date of experience box doesnt even go back far enough to when I first got mine, and that can only mean that they've gotten even better of the years. Love this company and I will never pay another mount again!

I've had mine since the holidays. Attached it to my windshield once. Hasn't fallen off yet through the icy northeast winter we just had and holding strong through the hot summer. Only reason I can't give the 5th Star is the magnetic arm that hold my phone isn't as rigid as it was when I first received it. My phone tilts forward every now and again especially through rough terrain but it's a very minor thing. Overall I still highly recommend the Carmount to anyone needing something of the like. It was super easy to install. It’s the only phone mount that stays on my dash in my car and I don’t have to clean up a bunch of melted glue goo if I want to move it. The magnet is very strong but not so strong that it’s difficult to remove. The ability to flex it into many angles is also convenient.

This is probably the nicest phone mount I've ever purchased. it's solid. It has not come off my windshield even with our 100° + temperatures right now. I actually bought three of them and gave two away to family members and they're happy with them also so I would highly recommend this. price is reasonable shipping was fast. It's Compact and the swivel is nice to be able to adjust the angle of the phone. very happy with it.

Absolutely great product! I have tried a number of phone holders for the truck, but none work well, especially with the pebbled dashboard in the truck. That is until I tried the Carmount Clutch-X! I have had mine up now for about two weeks, including through temperatures rising above 100 degrees. The Clutch-X is still holding strong with no chance of it losing that grip! This is the best phone holder I have ever seen!!!

The product arrived and tried with the provided magnet ring on phone, inside case, and only barely recognized the mount. Then put ring on outside of the case so it would attach directly to the mount. Magnets will not hold. The magnets separated 2X in 15 minute drive. Very, very poor magnets. Really does not deserve 1 star as it is completely unusable. Will go straight to the trash.

Website needs to change..you can't order multiple items..once you choose your item then added to the bag theres no option for continue shopping means you have to pay twice for delivery if you want another things from them..theres no way I can pay twice for delivery

Best car mount i’ve used so far. Even on bumpy roads in the woods with my subaru WRX, it holds my phone perfectly. UPDATED: Replacement device was sent out to me quickly and for free, and the functionality definitely works now. I’ve tested it on the same mirror that the old one fell from (leaving a sticky residue ring on the mirror), and immediately can see differences in the surface of the rubber/adhesive pad. I also did some basic research into nano vacuum technology (very cool, inspired by geckos feet, which are comprised of thousands of nano and micro fibrils to allow grip on any surface); perhaps a little gimicky and some recent research suggests that even in the case of gecko tape, it’s the adhesive doing the work rather than the nano tubes (but the nano tubes help the tape have a greater surface area and so improve the adhesive, etc). Anyway, I’ve attached the mount, appreciated it working correctly, removed it, appreciated the lack of residue, and reattached it, with similar level of stability and grip. Seems like the below frustration of my original review was a mixture of user error and a faulty device (and suspicion about spurious claims of magic technology that often conceal the grift). This company is legit, well intentioned, quick to respond, and make a great product that does what it says on the tin: mounting with MagSafe in a car. The one thing I’ll say though: this device definitely works best in the case of being attached to a specific (and very very clean, dry, bacteriostatic) flat surface, the harder the better, and although the twist and easy lock/release functionality and portable form factor would have you thinking it would be a good mount to take everywhere, constantly attach and reattach to various different surfaces (THE GYM! A MIRROR! CAR DASH! CAR WINDOW! KITCHEN! WALL! LAPTOP!) I would suggest that unless you are meticulous about cleaning these surfaces and making sure there is not a trace of dust, oil, grit, dander etc on the surface of the device or the mounting surface, the grip can be expected to reduce over time. When I first got the previous device, I definitely went exploring around the house attaching it to all kinds of (probably unclean) surfaces to try it out, misapprehending the intended usage pattern of the device. I don’t have a car and probably won’t always want this thing mounted on the same spot as it’s for filming content and taking photos, so probably not fit for what I wanted (something a bit more portable that can be attached and detached over and over again). Leaving my original review below for transparency and to show that I was wrong and the this company were so sure of their product they could tell it was a faulty device and rectified it here (I was not expecting this at all! Didn’t even think the company really existed, didn’t want a refund, was just cranky and interpreting product fault as trickery). So huge kudos to the CarMount team, and if you have any apprehensions about buying it, know that they really will address these kinds of issues promptly and are not scamming you. Just make sure to educate yourself on how it works and what it works best for. Original review: I didn’t want to believe this was a scam, as I paid decent amount of money for it, waited a while for delivery, and really wanted the device to work. I tried everything they suggested over many attempts, on different surfaces, on cleaned surfaces, etc. I just had a suspicion something wasn’t right after reading some of the other reviews. By this stage I had decided the device was useless - it would only stick to a surface for a few minutes and the slightest knock would break “the vacuum seal”, but it always seemed like it was the adhesive/sticky effect of the rubber ring that was doing all the heavy lifting. I ended up tipping the rubber ring off to see how the device works - shocked to find the turning function seems only to tap a little plastic knob and make a “clicking” sound but doesn’t actually move any other component under the seal. Smoke and mirrors. Don't buy these!!

I haven’t even received mine yet and I am giving this a 1 star. It’s been over 2 weeks and I haven’t received it yet or any communication as to when they shipped it. I bought this for a birthday present and I can’t even give it to my girlfriend for her birthday. I’ve had a order from china already come and ordered it the same day!
