Absolute nightmare customer service—condescending agents, outright lies, and terrible policies
Avoid this company at all costs. My father-in-law mistakenly used CheapFareGuru to book a flight for my husband, and it has been an absolute nightmare. They managed to completely mess up the passenger's email address and contact details, making it impossible to link the reservation to his official airline account or mobile app.It took four separate phone calls from my father-in-law just to get nowhere, followed by an agonizing hour-long battle on the phone with an incredibly rude, condescending customer service agent. The representative constantly talked over us, possessed a terrible attitude, and flat-out refused to provide his name when asked. Worst of all, he tried to aggressively gaslight us. He argued that we didn't need the contact information fixed because we could view the booking on a desktop browser. He then explicitly told us not to use the airline's mobile app. This is an outright lie to hide their own laziness—without the correct email linked to the profile, you cannot pull up mobile boarding passes, receive real-time gate changes, or add the tickets to an Apple Wallet. We eventually had to demand an escalation to a supervisor just to get a simple typo corrected because the airline cannot touch third-party bookings. Save yourself the stress, the hours of wasted time, and the disrespect. Book directly with the airlines and stay far away from these scumbags.

BEWARE: This company is a total rip off when you cancel any reservations. We booked 3 different reservations and had to cancel them within only 10 minutes because of an emergency and were charged $260.00. They charged $20 x 3 for both of us on our e-tkts and then another $200.00 for more bogus agency service fees. I would not recommend using this company to buy your tkts from at all!. They have not been reachable by phone to talk to the billing dept either.

Their website corrupted my name entries, and they charged $120 to rebook.
I booked 2 tickets. When I added my fellow traveler, the website tried to change my last name to that of my companion. When I corrected my last name, I noted her name to be correctly hers still. I proceeded to add my address, etc. The first questionable thing was when they called me (apparently from India-hey, talk about trying to build a stereotype against your ethnicity), to verify my bank info, they called my bank to do so. The additional fees had already posted to my account (seat selection, baggage fees, or FU fees as I call them, "as in FU for flying with us"), so why do they need to verify the rest of it? I went through with it. When I got the e-ticket, I noted it switched my companion's last name to mine, rather than how it started. This was their site doing this. To correct it, the airline sent me back to cheapfareguru, since I booked through them. The person, again, in India, cancelled the original flight and re-booked it, but now "it's more expensive," by roughly $120. I asked how much of that went to cheapfareguru.com, and he wouldn't answer. I already had my ticket, had to keep things going, so I ate shit and agreed to the increase. I'm still waiting for my refund to post. If it does, fine, learned a lesson. If there's any delay, I'm going to contest the payment in it's entire amount for getting ripped off. Not a good experience.

Do not use Cheapfareguru to book…
Do not use Cheapfareguru to book airline reservations. We used them and did not get the same flights or seats we requested when we made the reservation. Called to get changed to what we requested and they refused. DO NOT USE CHEAPGAREGURU TO BOOK FLIGHTS! Do not believe the response. Prestigia has t done anything to fix this issue.

Do not use this site. i was looking at flights which i never confirmed they could use my credit card and they still billed me $35 for canceling a booking i never finished.
Zero Stars. What an f'ing mistake. These people purposley and intentionally lied to me about a flight that I didn't want just to make a sale. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THEM
I booked on this site on accident. They give you a few and then call back and say the prices changed and they have to charge more. Now I leave in my vacation in 2 days and they rebooked by flight home to come back 12 hours earlier. They charged me more money for rebooking fees.

Thy charged me a fare on a flight to Calgary on Air Canada. Air Canada decided to use a different plane so Cheap Fare charged me a $30. service fee to make the change to my booking when the airline wouldn't charge me.

If it were up to me, I wouldn't give you a single star—not even one. Google's guidelines explicitly state that employees are prohibited from leaving 5-star reviews for their own workplaces; judging by the way you talk, it's obvious to me that you're an insider. As for why customers leave 1-star reviews? It's because you guys list prices that are below market rates, but once people actually try to book with you, you call or email them claiming the listed price was a "mistake"—blaming it on the airline or whatever other excuse you can come up with. With a business model like yours, it's only a matter of time before your company gets shut down. You call other people stupid? *You're* the one who's truly stupid. Your review style screams "company insider." Every business has its rules, sure—but your "rules" involve bait-and-switch tactics: you advertise low prices to get people to book, but then you refuse to issue the tickets. When you finally *do* issue the tickets, you revert to market rates—effectively strong-arming customers into paying a price that is higher than the actual market value.

Web site says you can cancel within 24 hours, but it does not mention $50 nonrefundable for each ticket.
I cancelled our purchase in less than 4 hours. Just beware. Even the agent didn't tell you that when I asked if I get my money back, till I read the cancellation confirmation. I wasted $100 in 4 hours.
I have come to find out these people are rip off artists. DO NOT USE!

ABSOLUTE SCAM!! Complete rip off. They burned us for $680 which left us stuck in Texas. Then they used our credit card to buy some lady tickets to London. I had to file fraud on them with my bank.

These people are exactly like people who call you from India with strong Indian accent to tell you they are calling from IRS, CRA or Police to scam you. Same shit different tactics and stories, do NOT trust them at all, do NOT fill up any kind of forms or applications with them. Be warned, you will lose your money without a doubt.

CheapFareGuru will steal your Money
CheapFareGuru, LastMinuteFareDeal, Eros Travel (all the same) have a scam operation. They called twice and said someone canceled my flight . I confirmed it with the airline. Then I told the agent that I wanted nothing more to do with them. They billed me twice for the plane fare and instead of giving an $80 service fee refund they promised ... they billed me $150 for cancellation fee. They told me nothing of the fee. They are not to be trusted on any service. I cannot get any refunds so far. You will experience much misery dealing with them!

We booked a flight on Air Portugal through CheapFareGuru. A couple weeks later our flight was cancelled and I was offered a flight 2 days later than my requested date. This didn't work for us. We requested a refund since the airline changed the date. We booked our flight through someone else, but AirFare Gurur charged us $100 processing fee. They said it was their policy. We gave them $100 for nothing. . Read the fine print on the back paragraphs.

I am getting charged for a ticket change I did not make. The airlines made a flight number and time change and CheapFareGuru is charging me for it. What a rip off. That is the last time I will use these scammers.
