What a wonderful experience! My partner and I attended the olive oil and wine tasting and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The quality of the local produce was exceptional, from the beautiful olive oils and delicious tapenades to the outstanding wines.
The red wine was particularly memorable – rich, full of character, and quite possibly one of the nicest we have tasted. It was clear that great care has gone into selecting products that truly showcase the flavours of the region.
A special mention must go to Mateo, who led the tasting with warmth, charm, and impressive knowledge. He was eloquent, engaging, and made the experience both informative and enjoyable. His passion for the local products really shone through.

Absolute garbage Charleston Tour Booker
We found an "Afternoon" cruise in Charleston and booked it. There was no time on the event, but we (I think reasonably) assumed that this was after 12:00. We get a notification from the company saying that the time for the event was 10:00am a couple of days before the event, though.
Since we already had plans with friends during this time, we wrote back that the tour needed to be cancelled and refunded. Through multiple rounds of back and forth, Cool Destinations tried to foist us off on the tour operator, even though that's not who we booked with.
They apparently communicated nothing to the tour company about the fact that we would not be there because of the mislabeled event title. The following morning, we get a call at 9:30am from the boat captain asking us where we are.
We followed up several times with screenshots of the Afternoon Charleston boat tour page until they finally said that they're investigating. After about a week—and with photographic proof that we were in the right, mind you—the booker says that the tour company will not refund the order and acts like they have nothing to do with it.
If you're looking for a tour event in Charleston, stay far away. This was a terrible experience. 'Cool Destinations' is a terrible tour booking company.
This was the highlight of our trip to SPI. We were not expecting to see so many dolphins. If you are worried you won’t see any, DON’T. They live and play in the bay. It’s their home. You WILL see them. Watching them play in the sunset was a dream. We also had the added bonus of watching the pelicans dive for fish (wooow) and a segal flying with our boat like it was part of the cruise. We sat by the captain and got first hand information on the island (super interesting). We also saw a rainbow. It rained right before our trip out. It was an incredible. You won’t be disappointed. It was a dream.

It was so easy to book a reservations through your company! And what was really very nice is your excursions were as they were advertised! The excursions that we had purchased from the ship were far below standard as far as we are concerned. But yours was phenomenal! We enjoyed our tour of the farm on Maui! And when we had realized that we purchased an excursion for Pearl Harbor and it wasn't what we needed it was very easy to sign in and have it credited with customer service. I really like cool destinations! Our next trip we will definitely be using your services!
We were lucky that it was a beautiful day to be in Boston. I brought a girlfriend of mine who loves history and we just enjoyed our tour guide, Mikayla so much. She is so enthusiastic, well spoken and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful experience.
Great tour of Acadia National Park. Needed to switch my date and a quick phone call took care of it. Would highly recommend!! Sean, our guide was amazing! So knowledgeable of the area and we learned so much.
Loved our cruise with Island Time!! The boat was clean and comfortable, with snacks and drinks available; the crew of Captain Heath, Carter and Sarah was the BEST, friendly, fun and attentive. We saw LOTS of dolphin pods close to the boat and thoroughly enjoyed lazing about in the waters of Shell Island. I highly recommend this afternoon respite amidst non-stop vacation activities!
Fumio was absolutely wonderful! She was so patient with both of us and helped every step of the way during our first time snorkeling adventure. We saw so many beautiful fish! Besides being incredibly attentive, she even took photos and videos of our adventure for us. She provided all the equipment, snacks, and water, and was the perfect guide for two snorkeling newbies. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Great way to celebrate my 60th Birthday!!
Involuntary cancellation — Exchange is not a refund
I booked a sailing tour in Seattle weeks in advance, as part of a day trip. The night before my reservation after I had arrived at my hotel, the ship staff emailed me that they were cancelling my reservation because they had a last-minute invitation to join a boat parade! Since it was not my choice, I expected a refund. However, Cool Destinations policy is not a refund, only an exchange for future travel that I have no desire to book with them.
This was an excellent tour filled with lots of history and maybe a ghost? Make sure you watch the blinds in the one building! Tour guide was very knowledgeable and good at telling the history of Asheville. Highly recommend!
