Missing pieces
This was purchased as a surprise for my 12 year old. When it arrived, she was extremely excited, as she currently wants to be a marine biologist that specializes in robotics. To the point that she had been on the school robotics team. When the order arrived, it was missing 2 crucial pieces to complete the project. Now she is dejected from continuing with the project and is very disappointed Cs was contacted the day it happened and they send the missing parts 2 days later. Hopefully they arrive in the next week and she can get reinvigorated to complete the project. When reading through the instructions, she called out that “this must happen a lot since they say who to contact if something is missing.”

My 6 yo is over the moon
My 6 yo is over the moon! Our order came quicker than we expected, which was a lovely surprise. The disk launcher project that we received had everything we needed, easy to follow directions and the accompanying video to empower my son to do most of the project on his own. His enthusiasm for engineering and science grew even stronger (which is saying something!), and it really boosted his confidence as well. He couldn’t wait to invite a friend over to show him what he had accomplished, and play target practice! The friend, by the way, viewed the CrunchLabs subscription kit as a holy grail level status symbol, which was adorable. Great experience from start to finish!

Camp CrunchLabs subscription is one of the best purchases of the year. Keeps my kids minds busy with hands-on engineering, they're being creative and having fun building every new project. The best part is: more interactive learning - less screen time!
Disc launcher Review
The experience was great! I loved building, playing, and experimenting with it! The best part about it was adding the finishing touches and completing it. I felt so proud of myself and I felt like I already was an engineer. I also got a better understanding of what a flywheel was by watching Mark Rober's video. I think the company is doing well, but I do have some constructive feedback. I completed the Disc launcher in about 10 minutes and I felt like I finished it too fast. I really wanted it to have more details and more parts too it. I wish I could spend more time building and constructing it. I also think it isn't worth waiting an entire month just to get another box. If I could spend more time constructing the build then it would've been worth to pay that much and wait a month. But I think buying the build boxes was worth it and useful for future generations.
