I must admit I jumped the gun not knowing in full how the whole refund/returned procedures work. I gave CVF Racing à one star.
I was able to get in contact with a live agent via phone after I left a message for them to call me back. All this time I was stubborn on sending back an alternator and was waiting for them to send me a RMA label.
However after a few simple steps, and I mean “SIMPLE STEPS” they were able to issue me a FULL REFUND, needless to say they stand before there products and have lifetime warranty.
Thanks for the excellent service and having the patience to instruct me on proper steps.
I will definitely buy again!!!

Purchased a high performances alternator and was a total disappointment…. Did not work as expected.
I called them so I can return it and for them to email me a RMA label to send back with alternator and initiate a refund of $320. Instead it seems like they want to engage in an endless emails exchanges 🤣
Please save yourself money and headaches dealing with this company.

Great kit so far. Had to make some spacers for the water pump pulley and get a different thermostat housing to clear the Alternator placement. Other than that everything is lining up. Good quality.

Website was easy to navigate and ordering was straightforward and simple.. just the way I like it.
If I had been paying closer attention I'd have realized I chose the wrong shaft size for the p/s pulley, after a quick call to customer service a RTA was emailed. I had the correct part in my hands in less than a week.
The quality of the parts is evident the minute you lay eyes on them.. In a world dominated by inferior/poorly made parts CVF is a breath of fresh air. Rest assured if you purchase from them you won't be disappointed.

Perfect service! I have 4 CVS BBC serpentine pulley systems... I have 4 sets of their hood hinges as well. The quality and customer service at CVF is second to my ok none! Thank you for your service CVF...and awesome parts

Pleased with tech department,know your products very well. But I order a water pump cover, received
the wrong one. called tech department they said need one for sepertine system but when I received it
one fastener was missing so I had to go find one at Ace hardware.

The part I ordered fit no problem. In my case I have used two different CVF parts to fit my special application. I think it would be helpful to show the dimensions of the parts so as to make sure to be ordering the correct part. I took a guess from the picture and it fit perfect. I would order again.

I was looking for an over speed set of pulleys for my Mopar, you had the correct crank pulley but not the water pump pulley.
I found a Ford pulley which got my application other than the bolt pattern. I slotted the holes and it fit
perfectly.
I know there is a need for this and you could add it to your catalog very easily.
I called in to speak to a rep but he wasn't aware of the Ford pulley option even though he searched his files.

Bolts sent with kit were either too short or were not accessible (bottom two bolts on both sides of the water pump) once they were installed.
Bracket looks great but offset my entire accessory drive. I called the tech line to be sure my pulley’s and accessory drive setup would work with their bracket and after being told yes, it offset them almost an inch and I had to clock the rear housing on the alternator, which isn’t listed and put it so close to the head that it makes contact with the corner of the head gasket. Now I have to buy two additional pulleys, change from a serpentine belt setup to a v belt setup and pray I can still align the pulleys enough it doesn’t sling the v belt.
The water pump looks great but the lower two bolts that attach the pump on both sides of the timing cover cannot be tightened unless you cut down a 7/32nd Allen wrench and tighten them little by little due to them hitting the pump. The lower two bolts also have to be put in first because they will not clear the lower bolt housing of the two water ports where it attaches. So in order to remove the pump you have to turn the bolts a couple rounds, then pull the pump away from the engine so that you have room to turn the bolts again because they hit the housing coming out. It is a rather PIA and if I didn’t have $260 in a bracket and pump along with another $40 in random bolts and cut up tools to make it work this far, I would not even run the items because it isn’t worth the effort!!! Also I am rather aggravated about being lied to on the phone. I called in to the tech line to specifically ask questions regarding this install on a 351 Windsor, which has nothing customized in its accessory drive to make it a pain for this setup. Hopefully I can still align the pulleys/ accessory drive and be able to drive my car again or I’m gonna trash it and just install a junkyard stock bracket where I can at least get belts easy and run the serpentine setup I didn’t want to lose to start with!
I hope this helps others make their choice about running a aftermarket bracket and an electric water pump setup.

Gary, we hear your frustration and this definitely isn’t the experience we want anyone to have.
It sounds like a few different things stacked up here between bolt access, alignment, and the alternator clearance. That’s not typical for this setup, especially on a standard 351W, so we’d really like to take a closer look at what’s going on with your specific combination.
A couple notes that may help others reading this:
Our brackets are designed around specific pulley spacing and component combinations, and mixing parts or variations in water pumps, pulleys, or accessories can affect alignment. Especially for Ford stuff. That said, if you were told over the phone that your exact setup would work, we want to make that right.
On the install side, the lower water pump bolts can be tight depending on the pump and timing cover casting, but it should not require modifying tools or excessive workaround like you described.

CVF is an incredible company to work with. I purchased their Ford 5.0L and 5.8L All Inclusive Wraptor Serpentine System in Black Diamond for my 351 Windsor that will be going in my 1970 F100. Everything came packaged very nicely in one box. All the components are top notch and bolted together perfectly. I emailed a few questions and they responded within minutes. I wish all companies operated like CVF. I highly recommend their products.
