This electric water pump purchase for big block Chev was speced for overall depth with a customer service rep on the phone,critical for clearance between the radiator fans,it was advertised to be shorter in overall length than others on the market. Ultimately ended up being identical and did not work for the application..ended up stepping up to the far more expensive moroso unit to accommodate the space needed.. clearly the advertised dimensions were not accurate..didn't return the pump,will find something to use it on.
Hi Mike, really sorry to hear about the clearance issue. We know how critical that dimension is, especially in tighter setups. That said, our pump is designed around standard big block Chevy dimensions, so it shouldn’t be identical in every application. It’s possible something in the setup or measurement reference point led to the mismatch, and we’d like to dig into that further.
Shipping was very quick! Great product. Everything bolted up nicely but for some reason the water pump pulley for my long nose did not line up right. I used a small block chevy pulley and it lined up, kind of disappointed its not all a match but all the rest is working great so far on my big block.

Very good lookin parts. The alternator was simple to hook up and the power steering pump is nice and quiet. Love the chrome. Instructions for the 351M and 400 are pretty confusing. The pictured examples only show a 351C which showed a different alternator style and the power steering pump mounting was different than what was shown. Just took a bit figure it out. Pretty good kit besides that.

I can only comment on the customer service at this time as the motor swap is not yet complete, so the brackets and pulleys have to be installed. Although, they do look great. The customer service was outstanding. There were incredibly helpful and understanding when I needed to swap out brackets for a short water pump to a long water pump. The exchange was smooth and handled quickly.
