What people say

Not as Good as I First Thought: it was, in fact, horrible

I believe this is the second review I will write about DM. The first one was right after I joined. Good times lasted 2 or so days. Then I went to a presentation. It was bad. No real knowledge about anything, but needing to tell us how smart all the mentors are and how many degrees the leader has. But I didn't see that then. What I did see was a vicious devotion to Trump and that's why I left. I could not tolerate what I was hearing.

Old Folks need TLC when it comes to computer skills.

The mentors are very knowledgeable and patient. Jack is especially smart about all things charts and graphs. The students, mostly older folks, do not have great computer skills, but the mentors are always kind and patient.

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-08-10

Charts and graphs are their own kind of language, so having Jack fluent in that on top of everything else is a real asset. Patience with varying comfort levels around computers matters just as much as the financial knowledge itself, glad that's coming through. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

Barbara guided me through setting up a Talisman wallet

Barbara guided me through setting up a Talisman wallet and I was able to go through Polkadot to transfer my TAO to the wallet. Very much appreciate it!

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-08-10

Bridging TAO through Polkadot into a new Talisman wallet isn't the most straightforward setup, so having Barbara guide it step by step instead of leaving you to figure it out from documentation clearly paid off. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

Barbara is the Queen of Tech.

Barbara, Tech expert, from DM has been of tremendous help in fixing my technical problems with a smile. She is very patient with an old man as well as very knowledgeable concerning Zoom, Trezor wallet, and Rabby wallet. She was able to show me how to connect the wallets and transfer coins from coinbase to the wallets. I couldn't have had a better experience. She deserves a raise.

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-08-07

Connecting wallets and moving coins over from an exchange for the first time is exactly the kind of step where one wrong click causes real panic, so getting that done smoothly across Zoom, Trezor, and Rabby all at once says a lot about Barbara's range. "She deserves a raise" is a review we'll happily pass up the chain. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

Gems Q and A with DM Mentor Rodrigo…

Gems Q and A with DM Mentor Rodrigo Infante is fantastic. Gems Q and A and Rodrigo have made all the difference for me getting into gems with based bot. He explains everything so well. Thank you for your patience and all your A+ help!

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-08-10

Based Bot has a learning curve of its own on top of everything else with gems, so having Rodrigo break it down clearly instead of leaving you to piece it together made a real difference by the sound of it. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

Ajay works with me and others during…

Ajay works with me and others during the Native Markets session so calmly and quickly and takes the time with members who get stuck on a process but makes sure the process is complete. Sometimes I don't know what to ask until I see it and walked through.

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-08-10

Not knowing what to ask until you see it walked through is more common than people admit, and it's on the mentor to notice that rather than wait for a question that might never come. Sounds like Ajay's paying attention closely enough to catch it. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

Patience, Professionalism, and Nerves of Steel

Ben Dubard is an outstanding mentor and one of the calmest professionals I've had the pleasure of learning from. During live sessions, the same questions can come up repeatedly, yet he provides individualized responses with remarkable patience and nerves of steel, while remaining consistently respectful to every member. I admire the way he encourages active participation and makes everyone feel comfortable contributing, creating a welcoming and interactive learning environment.

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-08-10

Answering the same question several times with the same care as the first is a real skill, not just a personality trait, and it sounds like Ben's got it down. Making people comfortable enough to actually participate instead of just listening quietly is the harder win in a group setting. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

Barbara was kind and patient as she helped me navigate successfully. She lowered my fear of this new era tech.

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-08-06

Lowering the fear around new tech is arguably the bigger win here, more than any single task getting sorted. Sounds like Barbara's patience did a lot of that work. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

New member experience.

Since joining Decentralized Masters, I have been very impressed with their commitment to help and assist members like myself. The classes and subjects are all I could ask for. While I am not well versed in the digital markets, I have felt comfortable in the learning experience. The mentor program is fantastic. Over all, the whole experience has been informative and very well prepared.

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-08-05

Feeling comfortable while learning something you're not well versed in yet is often the harder thing to get right compared to the material itself, so it's good that's coming through clearly. Well prepared is exactly the standard we hold the mentor program to. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

Joshua was very helpful and has great potential to be a good mentor in view he's new in handling this live call.

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-08-06

Being new to running live calls and still coming across as helpful says a lot about Joshua's instincts, that's usually the part people are most nervous about early on. Good sign for where he's headed. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

Techy Barbara Pampin should have a Gold Star…

Tech agent Barbara Pampin should have a GOLD star for her help with an octogenarian who is not really good on computers. I told her I needed to keep her for 24 hours because she was so good! She was amazing,

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-08-06

Wanting to keep someone on call for 24 hours is about as good a review as it gets. Barbara clearly had the patience to match the pace you needed, not just the technical know-how. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

Ledger vs Rabby

Very helpful and patient with explaining how to use and navigate my rabby wallet with my ledger

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-08-03

Getting Rabby and Ledger to work together smoothly trips up a lot of people at first, so patience through that setup matters more than it might seem from the outside. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

Barbara carved out an extra 40 minutes…

Barbara carved out an extra 40 minutes after the tech session to help me understand the big question around decentralized finance. Additionally, she help me complete my VPN installation. As a result, I gain a huge amount of confidence!

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-08-03

Forty extra minutes after the session was already supposed to end says a lot about Barbara's approach, especially since the VPN piece and the bigger question about decentralized finance are two very different kinds of help to give in one sitting. Confidence like that tends to be the real marker of progress, more than any single task getting checked off. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

Barbara Pampin who is a tech assistant…

Barbara Pampin who is a tech assistant with Decentralized Masters helped me today with a password change. Of note, Barbara is a deeply relaxed person who in a peaceful and kind manner offered her expertise in this experience. Thank you, Barbara for your seamless support in this activity! Much appreciated, Robert Jordan

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-08-03

A password change is a small task on paper, but it's often the moment someone's most anxious about getting locked out of something important. Barbara keeping it calm and straightforward instead of just transactional made the difference here. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

Shane's office hour was informative and interactive. Helped clear many of my lingering thoughts as well. Thanks Shane.

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-07-31

Lingering questions have a way of sticking around longer than people expect until someone actually addresses them directly, so good that Shane's office hour did that instead of just covering the standard material. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

Kyle Rocks!!

Kyle is a patient mentor with all asking questions and has demonstrated a deep knowledge of investing in crypto

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-07-29

Deep knowledge doesn't always come with the patience to slow down and actually field every question, so it's good Kyle brings both to the table. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

This company excels at what they do!

This company excels at seeing that no one is left behind. Even when someone has slipped through the cracks for different personal reasons or because of technical problems someone at Decentralized Masters will go out of their way to bring them back up to speed. I'll admit there is a steep learning curve but their mentors are great and very patient with everyone. I would particularly like to give a shout out and praise to both Kyle and Ajay who are two mentors who are both, all about seeing that members who they are educating get complete and comprehensive answers to all their questions. Decentralize Masters are the real deal if you are determined to invest the time necessary to learn the world of investing in digital assets.

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-07-29

Everyone falls behind at some point, life gets in the way or the tech trips someone up, so the real test is whether anyone notices and closes the gap. Sounds like Kyle and Ajay both do exactly that, less about answering a question and more about making sure it actually sticks. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

I very much enjoyed my call with Barbra. She was very engaging and a pleasure to work with. We covered quite a bit of information in a short period of time. The information that was provided was concise and simplified, which made it very easy to follow along. overall it was a great experience.

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-07-31

Covering a lot of ground in a short call without it feeling rushed is a hard balance, and it sounds like she kept it concise without losing the substance. Easy to follow along usually means someone put real thought into how they were presenting it, not just what. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters

Yohan's fundamental analysis automation - superb!

Yohan presented an excellent series of 1 hour lectures culminating in automating the entire fundamental analysis of any crypto coin with Google Opal. He shows how anyone can write the code by copying 8 series of long prompts which he has already written which can all be done in less than 30 minutes. The final result: You enter the coin name and out pops a 2 word fundamental analysis, good or bad. Outstanding!

Reply from Decentralized Masters2026-07-29

Turning a full fundamental analysis process into something that runs off eight pre-written prompts in under thirty minutes is the kind of thing that sounds too simple until you see the coin-name-in, verdict-out result yourself. Good that Yohan built it so people don't need to write the code themselves, just use what already works. — Sam Fisherman, The DeFi Doctor, Head of Education @ Decentralized Masters
