DigitalOcean ignores genuine abuse reports
One of their IPs was running an attack: password-reset brute forcing through, an attempt to upload a malicious plugin (POST upload plugin,), and requests to fm.php web shells. All logged with timestamps, 200 response codes and exact request paths. I sent the full logs to their abuse team. The reply from Security Operations: “the resource appears to be inactive and this ticket will be closed.” No investigation, no check of the server the traffic came from. Just a closure for the sake of clearing the ticket. If malicious traffic is hitting your infrastructure from DigitalOcean servers, do not count on their abuse team. They do not read the evidence you send.

Stay away from digital ocean of worms
They blocked my subscription, saying this: To help us complete your account activation, can you please briefly describe your project goals for building on DigitalOcean? And provide a social profile (Twitter, LinkedIn, GitHub) that we can use to further verify your online identity? Why should I do that, I don't know them either, and frankly, with this outcome, I don't want to have anything with this 'company' Also I would like to note that this feels like some sort of discrimination or racism on their side, just because my IP is from LATAM. Shame on you.

Digital Ocean Tech Support helped me right away , I opned the ticket regarding the vm which I tried updating and because I count access vm anymore so I opened the ticket and team replied back in 1 minute despite being the weekend. Amazed with their service:) Thank You so much team.
