The only downside is the online template for your artwork which will erase your work when you try to save it if you do more than one task at a time before saving. Say you work on two text boxes before saving, or a text box and any image--50:50 chance your work vanishes when you go to save it. If you save after EVERY task, you won't lose anything.

The communication was perfect throughout my experience, 1st timer and concerned about almost every aspect of this project...not to worry, Trevor was always available and ready to help figure things out! I received our CDs ahead of schedule, they were perfectly executed and beautiful. I used TheSound Lab for mastering and am pleased with the results. Disappointed in the lack of communication regarding delays and defects. Disc Makers quote an estimated delivery window that they don't hold themselves accountable to. I understand defects and delays can happen. I had reached out proactively multiple times throughout the process and was told that there were no issues, only to find out at the end of my estimated delivery window that there was an issue with the quality of the center-labels and they left the delivery date open-ended.
They only told me the process is complex and difficult to track. No clarity regarding when the delivery can be expected or offer to make things right. Just that they are working hard and fast to complete the order.
It seems like Disc Makers enables low-cost, reasonable quality production, which is awesome. I have had great experiences with CDBaby for about 20 years with digital distribution and CD production. Love the offering and availability of vinyl in smaller batches where that was previously not possible to find anywhere close to the price (I paid about $1,300 for 100 for 140g, standard sleeve, with a few upgrades like matte finish), but very disappointed with the lack of accountability, updated expectations or communication.
I tried escalating to get more clarity and form some sort of a relationship with someone who could give me a clear expectation, but received a general canned response from Erin Rooney in customer care. No personalized communication or effort to reach out to reset expectations.

Everything went well and I was completely satisfied with the finished CDs. I've already mentioned in other reviews that the only thing I would change is to make the artwork for discs easier to use.

I didn’t no rush, but did not expect it to take that extremely long. I still do not have my CDs. And they supposedly shipped well over a week ago. I ordered a re-order about five or six weeks ago. Was needing them for an event last weekend, and according to them supposed to have them. But I still do not have them.

Hi Ricky, We are very sorry for the delay with your project. Your project is currently out for delivery according to the tracking information from UPS. By selecting the Extended Turn option for your production time, your order is manufactured in approximately 10-15 business days at a significantly discounted rate. Please note that during high capacity times in our production department, orders can take longer to ship than the initially quoted ship date.
Extended Turn orders do not have a guaranteed delivery date. If there is a specific date or deadline for your order, we recommend upgrading to a Standard or Priority production time to ensure you receive your product when needed.

If you'd like to redo the jackets with revised artwork, we can work with you on the pricing and can send just the new jackets without the discs so that you can swap them out on your end. We'd apply a 30% discount and free UPS Ground shipping. We can also include free "wafer seals" with the reworked jackets. These are clear, circular stickers that you can use to seal the jackets and prevent the discs from falling out. Let me know if you're interested. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
