My experience with eCapital so far has not been what I expected, and I believe it’s important to clarify what this review is actually based on. I was asked to leave a review immediately after signing the contract. At this stage, I cannot provide any feedback on operations, since I have not even started factoring yet. Reviews should normally reflect real performance over time. However, since I was asked, the only thing I can evaluate is the onboarding experience — and that has not been the best. From the beginning, I clearly explained that my main issue with my previous factor (WEX) was limited credit and the need for higher limits with concentration. I was told that Kodiak had already been reviewed, that concentration was not an issue, and that a credit line in the range of $75K–$100K was available. This was presented as something already in place, not as a possibility or something pending approval. Based on that understanding, I proceeded with the application and contract. However, right before the buyout was finalized, I was informed that I would be starting with only a $30,000 credit line. That was not what had been communicated before signing. I immediately pushed back and explained that $30K would not work for my operation and would actually put me in a worse position than I was with WEX. I was told that increasing the credit too quickly could cause the deal to fall apart. My position was clear: if the structure doesn’t work, the deal should not move forward. I cannot operate under conditions that don’t match what was previously communicated. Despite that, the process continued as if I was expected to adjust. Additionally, there is an important contract term that future carriers should carefully evaluate before entering. The agreement includes a 5% termination fee based on the total credit line, not on usage. I personally identified this after reviewing the contract in detail, and in my opinion, this is a key factor in the decision-making process. For example, a $100,000 credit line represents a $5,000 exit cost, regardless of how much is actually used. As credit increases, so does the cost of flexibility. This is not a complaint, but rather something that should be clearly understood and considered beforehand, since it directly impacts your ability to scale and exit when needed. To be fair, the credit line was eventually increased, but only after I pushed back firmly. That alignment should have existed from the beginning, not after the client escalates the issue. Overall, the onboarding process lacked transparency. Key details were either unclear or only surfaced after commitment, which creates unnecessary risk and stress for carriers.
We appreciate your feedback but are disappointed to hear that your onboarding experience has not met your expectations. This is the worst factoring company. Do not factor with them !!!!!! You will be sorry. The people don't care if you need to pay bills. They work from home so they work if they want to. They lie and say if u turn in a load before 1pm u will get funded the same day. It's a total lie. Just a scam. They will hold you on a contract and not let you go. When you ask for the ending of your contract they won't even respond to you. Horrible company.

I would urge all truckers tovstay away from this company, my business partner has been trying to leave for over 2 tears and they are making it impossible, they no longer take our calls or keep saying the peeson responsible has been in leave all these years,

Ive been with eCapital for a year and a half roughly, and I am yet to experience anything that has set me back ever. My Rep Miss Beatriz Quiroz is nothing short of amazing, shes made every month better than the prior one. With every bump in the road us carriers face and every expense that piles on, its such a relief knowing I have such a responsible and dedicated rep on the other end anytime I come across an issue with brokers or accounting departments. They say nobody is perfect but its hard to relate that to miss Beatriz and how easy she makes things for us here. Thank you eCapital for your service and help, and thank you Beatriz for being the devoted professional we love working with! I would definitely recommend eCapital for any carriers in the market for a factoring company. 5 stars!
