Building tours that go beyond expectationTaking a modern approach to educational travel means we design each and every one of our class trips with one thing in mind: To go beyond the same-old highlights you could see with anyone else. No matter where you go, or how subject-specific you want to get, our tours go beyond the textbooks, beyond the monuments. We’re driven to build incredible experiences that resonate with today’s students and provide lessons that will stick with them—wherever they go next.We empower educators to do their best workMore specifically, we help teachers change their students’ lives through educational travel. Our guide and bus driver were amazing. They connected with the kids and kept everyone engaged in what was going on around the trip. Even when things went wrong, we were still helped. It was a trip of a lifetime and we are so excited to have gotten this experience.
Kids had fun but there are some issues that I was not expected with all reputations we heard about your organization
1st day, lunch was not provided and our kids were hungry until almost 6 pm which was dinner actually.
Last day, bus broke and kids were literally wasted their time until they go to airport.
Visiting Harvard was promised but never happened, it was supposed to be the last day.
There is too much packed into the day for the kids to really take even a breathe never the less take pictures, buy souvenirs or converse about the history they are looking at, in that aspect it was not at all worth the price paid. More days or less sites should be accommodated so that the kids, these are kids, have the time to soak in and enjoy the history of this great nation. The security at the hotel was farcical! They were dressed in sweat pants and not attentive unless it was to confiscate a students Door Dash delivery with zero valid explanation as they stated it was for the 'students safety', I think it was the underpaid guards, so much so that they cant afford even a pair of jeans, stomach that was the rational for the confiscation of the food that let a child go hungry!! Items from our child and best friend, sealed drinks to take back to the hotel that were bought just prior to going to the show, were confiscated at the Broadway show, they were sealed and in there bag that they carried every day to collect souvenirs and such on there adventure. If that is the policy of the show the kids should not have been taken shopping before the show to get stuff. This is not something I would spend $4000.00 on ever again, I would take my daughter myself and teach her and allow her to enjoy and understand the history of it all.
My daughter came back with so many wonderful stories and memories from her recent trip! Her tour guide was very helpful and efficient which made the trip flow smoothly.

So wonderful to hear! There's nothing better than a child coming home full of stories and memories, and we're glad her tour guide helped make the experience seamless and enjoyable!
Everything was great. There was a small incident on the nyc subway where another rider got aggressive with the group.
The weather was pretty good and I liked the food options. Watching a Broadway show in nyc was also really cool.

Thank you for sharing! Experiencing a live Broadway show in New York City is always a special moment!
We're sorry to hear about the incident on the subway. Situations like that can be unsettling, and we hope the group was well supported in the moment. The safety and comfort of our travelers is always a priority.
Thank you for your feedback!
My child loved this experience! It was well organized and easy to understand as a parent. Pricing was fair. The accommodations were quality. We will definitely participate again with EF tours.
We had a great time and we got to see and learn a lot of stuff on our trip. Our tour leader Mike was awesome, knowledgeable and friendly. I gave it a 4 star review and not a 5 because while we saw a lot of stuff, we were always rushed at our stops because we saw so much.
Great personal guide & bus driver , made the parents feel heard and special, felt like a local instead of a tourist- enjoyed the area hidden gems. Even though I’m grateful for the opportunity to attend, and last minute guide change, there are a few things I wished it went more smoothly, even though we didn’t get to go to the White House, or close to it to see it due to the fair/construction should’ve been mentioned prior to departure, could’ve been more of a group exploring so we didn’t miss anything when it came to George Washington’s Estate. Missed a few statues/memorial, pros and cons with the till card wished we had cash instead of card, didn’t like having to spend it all or you lose it on the last day. Would’ve like to have gone to the twin tower museum while there and saw more history, instead of shopping. Food choices were great.

Thank you for sharing your experience. So happy to hear that your guide and bus driver made the trip feel like a local experience rather than a tourist one! That is exactly what we hope for.
We hear you on the site closures and construction not being communicated ahead of time, and understand it can be frustrating when expected highlights are affected. Your feedback around group pacing and the till card will be passed on to our teams as we continue to look for ways to improve the experience for future travelers.
Thank you for your feedback!
Our tour director and bus driver were so knowledgeable and friendly! Olivia, the tour director, always ensured that the tour would meet our expectations.
The trip was planned with an eye towards quantity rather than quality. It was a lot, there were very few actual tours of the places that we went to, just really photo opportunities with a suggestion that we come back for further exploration. The days were excruciatingly long starting with a red eye with a connection and proceeding directly to the tour. Although we had a bus, the tour was mostly walking and sometimes involved stops that seemed to be killing time. A lot of pointing out shoe (Nike, Converse) stores. We were not made aware of what activities we were going to be given to do until a week before, and some of the expected activities did not come to fruition. The detailed itinerary was only given the morning of. Seemed a lack of planning. Lunches were short and centered mostly around food court options. We did see some interesting sites, but I would not repeat the experience.

We're glad there were some interesting sites along the way, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
We hear your frustration around the pacing, depth of experiences, and the way the itinerary was communicated. Our tours are designed for student travelers, with the goal of introducing them to a broad range of highlights that spark curiosity and inspire further exploration. We recognize that for some travelers, that can feel rushed rather than immersive. Your feedback is something we appreciate and will be passed on to our internal teams as we work to improve future tours.
Regarding the daily itinerary, some flexibility is built into our tours to account for real-time logistics, though we understand that can feel uncertain from a traveler's perspective.
Thank you for your feedback!
