I purchased a lifetime account

I purchased a lifetime account, but it was disabled without any explanation. I followed the rules and traded normally, yet my account was simply removed. A lifetime account should mean lifetime access. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in the company. I will never use Elite Trader Funding again and cannot recommend their services

Going on vacation? Better ask for permission

Going on vacation? You better ask permission otherwise they will liquidate your account. Only 5 days without placing a trade is enough to get your account closed and the only warning you get is a hidden notification on the dashboard. But if I’m on vacation and not trading, I’m also not checking my dashboard. I’m pretty disappointed because my experience up until that point had been decent but coming back from vacation to find your account gone and no help from support is too much.

Thank you for sharing your experience. The Weekly Trading Requirement is outlined in our Terms of Service and applies to all accounts. ETF also provides a trading break request process specifically designed for planned absences, allowing traders to pause activity while keeping their account in good standing. Scammed out of $11,250 SIM Payout - Bait & Swtch avoid

Avoid Elite Trader Funding, they do not honor qualified SIM-funded payout requests. I just had 5 × $150K accounts cancelled the day after I requested $11,250 in payouts I had already earned. I’m a CPA with nearly 30 years in corporate finance (multiple CFO roles). I’ve taken payouts from Take Profit Pro+, Trade Day, Tradeify, Lucid, Blusky and others. Timeline: 1.) 5/20/26 – Bought 5 × $150K 1-Step Intraday Trail Elite accounts 2.) Passed eval Day 1 (> $9K profit each) 3.) Moved to SIM-Funded and traded the required 8 active days By 6/1/26 every account looked like this: • ~$8,083 profit per account • Total ~$40,500 across the 5 accounts • All consistency rules met (lowest day well above 23% floor) • Well past the $5K buffer 6/1 evening → Payout requests submitted 6/2 → KYC refresh approved (done same day) 6/3 morning → “LIVE ELITE Account Review Notice” email 6/3 same day → ALL 5 SIM accounts suddenly cancelled 6/4 → “Congratulations” email from Risk Team: You’re being moved to Live Elite. All SIM profits wiped. No payouts owed. Options they gave me: A) $2,200 starting live account (max 5 micros) B) One-time “final” payout of ~$1,200 total (instead of the $11,250 I earned) I already had $2,500 in verified live payouts with ETF last fall. When I asked about the delinquent $11,250 request (past their own 48-hour guarantee), support replied: “There is no negotiation in this process once you are converted.” This pattern has repeatedly come up on Trust Pilot and X.com. Hit the 8-day payout window → dashboard briefly shows “Approved” → accounts cancelled → tiny live account offered instead. Their own rules allow it… but that doesn’t make it right. If you’re grinding ETF challenges, read the fine print on LIVE ELITE transitions before you hit payout eligibility. Protect your capital. Trade with firms that actually pay when you win. UPDATE: 6/8/26 UPDATE (June 8): After posting this review, ETF sent an automated email claiming my KYC was pending and threatening forfeiture by 1:13 PM EST today, despite my profile being fully approved by their KYC provider Sumsub on June 2nd. Furthermore, because I declined their forced live-account transition, they attempted to apply a retroactive 2%–5% penalty structure to slash a ~$41K performance balance down to an insulting ~$1200. Absolute bad-faith operation. FINAL UPDATE (June 8): The firm responded to this review and processed a payout of exactly $1,192.36 on an earned performance balance of over $40K across 5 compliant accounts. They will hide behind terms like "discretionary live transition" and "program rules" to justify this, but the mathematical reality speaks for itself: because I declined to transition into a microscopic, highly restricted live account structure, they retroactively slashed my payout by over 90% using an unlisted, predatory sliding scale (5% on the first $12.5K, 2% on everything above it). They also attempted today to enforce an arbitrary 5-day KYC expiration deadline within hours of the dispute, completely ignoring that their own compliance vendor (Sumsub) had already verified my profile last week on Jun 2nd after I submitted my initial payout request. They didn't "honor their terms"; they executed a predatory practice to screw the trader. Consider this a hard warning to the trading community of how the ETF model works when you win. These were some of the toughest accounts in the Futures prop space with Intraday Trail, and 8 days traded for a payout in SIM Funded, the least they could do is honor one legitimate payout request before moving one to Live. I highly advise sticking with the top reputable firms that really honor payouts when you earn it. Many other good choices out there.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that account transitions and payout reviews can be disappointing when the outcome is not what was expected. ETF does not discuss full account-specific review details in a public forum, but we do want to clarify how the LIVE ELITE process works. LIVE ELITE is part of ETF’s funding model and is governed by the applicable program terms. Selection or transition to LIVE ELITE is made at ETF’s discretion based on the full account profile, including performance, risk, consistency, compliance, and overall readiness for live funding. Elite Sim-Funded accounts and LIVE ELITE accounts are not the same account structure. Elite Sim-Funded balances and simulated earnings do not automatically carry over into LIVE ELITE. When an account is selected for LIVE ELITE, the account is moved into a separate real-capital structure with its own starting balance, risk parameters, payout rules, and program terms. This is disclosed in the LIVE ELITE program information. We disagree with the claim that ETF engaged in a “bait-and-switch.” The account handling was completed under the applicable program terms and review process. A simulated account balance is not the same as an approved and payable payout, and payout eligibility remains subject to account review, compliance, risk review, and all applicable program rules. Because this matter involves private account information, we cannot provide a full account-specific response here. Our support team remains available to review the account directly through the proper support channel and provide clarification based on the account record. ETF Team

Unprofessional and shady practices regarding payouts. Avoid!

I successfully requested a withdrawal, but Elite Trader Funding denied it. Their excuse? They literally told me that I am "too good" and that they are moving me to a "live" account instead of paying out what I had already earned under their rules. This is a massive red flag. A reputable prop firm pays out your profits when you meet the criteria; they don't hold your money hostage to force you into another phase. If you are looking for a reliable firm that actually pays its traders, stay away from ETF. They will find any excuse to avoid making payouts.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Live Elite selection is a performance-based milestone outlined in our Terms of Service, not an arbitrary decision. As clearly stated in those terms, ETF may transition a trader to the Live Elite program before, during, or after a payout request. When that transition occurs, pending sim payout requests are cancelled as part of the process. The balances involved in our simulated programs represent simulated performance, not real capital being withheld. The Live Elite program moves traders into a real-capital environment, which is the intended outcome of the evaluation process. If you have further questions, please contact [email protected]. Weekly Trading Requirement - penalized 6 months after breach

I was just informed today that an elite account I have had since Oct 2025 has been closed. In November 2025 I breached the Weekly Trading Requirement. They continued to take my fees to keep that account active and then as I get closer to a payout, they decide we better audit this guy. Come on. Additionally, trading is fundamentally about longevity and risk management. The reason I did not trade that particular week was that I was in a drawdown, and I chose to pause rather than risk blowing the account. This decision ultimately proved prudent, as I have since managed to recover and continue trading successfully. Instead of being penalized for responsible account management, I believe such actions should be recognized and encouraged. If I wasn't in the position of holding several Elite accounts and continuing to get them closer to a payout, I would have left them months ago. The last 2 accounts that I passed got cancelled before I could transfer them across to Elite Funded status. Their backend system is not that great if this can happen, and ultimately, despite their self promotion of how they care for their traders, I doubt it very much. I think they are cheesy and if I was starting all over again I would avoid them completely. They have responded in their usual fashion, and they are unable to refund any fees that I paid to keep that account open. And I did pay fees, as I started paying monthly then eventually paid the one time fee. I believe this provides evidence around how unethical they can be when it suits them. Very little respect for their paying customers, happy to keep taking their money when their systems aren't reliable enough. Sure, I made a mistake, but that didn't stop them taking my money. I run a business too, and that is no way to treat your customers. There are way better companies out there than this one. And the others are much much cheaper too.Absolutely no respect for their customers. Please avoid them and go elsewhere. They should not have continued to take my subscription fees, they should have cancelled the account 6 months ago. That is not something I accept as ethical business practice.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that you disagree with the outcome, and we want to clarify the compliance basis for the account closure. Elite Trader Funding accounts are subject to the applicable Terms of Service, account rules, and program requirements throughout the full life of the account. One of those requirements is the weekly trading requirement, which requires trading activity each calendar week unless an approved trading break request is on file. Our review confirmed that the weekly trading requirement was not met. Choosing not to trade for risk-management reasons does not remove the requirement to submit an approved trading break request. The trading break process exists for this exact situation, so traders have a formal way to pause activity while remaining compliant with account requirements. Compliance violations are not waived simply because they are identified during a later audit or because an account remained accessible for a period of time. ETF conducts account reviews, including automated checks, manual audits, payout reviews, and risk reviews. If a violation is confirmed during any of those reviews, ETF may take action in accordance with the Terms of Service and program rules. The account was not closed because it was near a payout, because of profitability, or because of account balance. The closure was based on a confirmed inactivity-related policy violation and the absence of an approved trading break covering the inactive period. Subscription payments or continued access after a missed requirement do not override, cure, or waive a Terms of Service violation. For that reason, ETF is unable to issue a refund for an account closed due to a confirmed breach of program requirements. We understand this is not the outcome you wanted, but ETF must apply its rules consistently across all traders. After review, the closure decision remains unchanged. ETF Team

Worse prop firm ever

Worse prop firm ever, taking your money with no hesitation, but when is about payout you get email that is not approved because of some hidden rules. Disgusting company, never in my life with them, I really recommend guys go never ever try this scammers. Run from them.

Evaluation fees are clearly disclosed before purchase and cover access to our simulated trading environment. There are no hidden charges. ETF's program rules and payout requirements are equally transparent, outlined in our Terms of Service and agreed to at registration. We were unable to locate an account associated with this review. If you have a specific concern about a payout decision, please contact [email protected] with your account details and we will review it. ETF Team

Terrible rules, AVOID!

They change their rules and don't inform their users. Their straight to funded rules are a complete joke. I will never use them again. Extremely badly managed company who will do anything to get out of paying you your money. Scam? There are lots of better prop firms out there, why pay a dodgy one your money.

COMPLETE SCAM, CLOSED MY ACCOUNT THAT HAD POSITIVE $600 BALANCE.

Account closures are not arbitrary. When an account is closed, it is the result of a review conducted under our Terms of Service and program rules agreed to at registration. If you believe your account was closed in error, please reach out to [email protected] with your details. ETF Team

Be Aware!!!

Be Aware!!!! 7 prop firms, and thought this one ETF was diferent. It was NOT. Once you are profitable, they send you directly to LIVE (the button for the payout does not appear, so you cannot request it once completed the 8 days, and the worst = it is written in the rules. They play with the overconfidence that at least you will be able to request your first payout, hard earned money, after a lot of evaluations, and then...pufff. They suggest transmitting to LIVE in 7 days, and place a lot of steps involving clearer pictures, and excuses. Result = no money, and no payouts, and finally no LIVE. You have been trapped, scammed or wathever you wanna call it. Still waiting for the 0,05% of the account forfeiture, as rules stated, misserable ammount. It is my genuine experience and of course have not receipt incentive.

All payouts at ETF, including those tied to declining a Live Elite offer, require successful completion of our KYC verification process. This is not an ETF policy preference but a legal requirement under KYC/AML and CFT regulations. ETF cannot issue payments to any trader who has not completed identity verification, regardless of account performance. In this case, the KYC process was not completed within the required timeframe. ETF communicated the requirements and sent a reminder, however the verification was not finalized. As a result, no payout could be processed. The terms governing this process are clearly outlined in our Terms of Service, which are agreed to at registration. If there are remaining concerns, please contact [email protected]. ETF Team
