Stay Away.....Scam Scam Scam

STAY AWAY. DO NOT RECOMMEND. SCAM PRACTICES. If i could give this company a negative star, i would in a heartbeat. Trading is already hard. You dont need a business making it any harder. This was my first payout request after being with the firm for just over a month and traded my elite (Funded) account for a total of 9 trading days. During that period, i had zero red days, I traded consistently and responsibly, generating approximately $1,000–$1,100 in profit per day while strictly following all their trading rules and satisfying all payout requirements. Total profit in account 1 was $9445 and account 2 $3227.6. Requested a max payout of $2750. After submitting my payout request, I completed all required Sumsub and Rise verification documents under the understanding that my payout was actively being processed. Both verifications were approved without any issues. Despite meeting every requirement, the firm cancelled my accounts and is now attempting to move me to a live account without issuing the payout I legitimately earned (How Convenient). At the same time, i am forfeiting more than $12,000 across both Elite Funded accounts. They are proposing a live account with only $1,800 after a $197 account data fee AND i can only trade up to 5 micros. What a SHAM of a Company & a WASTE of TIME.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. ETF’s programs operate under the Terms of Service and program rules agreed to during registration, including provisions related to payout reviews and potential transition to the Live Elite program. As outlined in those terms, transitions may occur before, during, or after a payout review process. ETF’s simulated programs are designed to evaluate trader performance and identify traders for advancement into the Live Elite environment, where traders may become eligible for daily payouts based on live trading performance and applicable program terms. All accounts are reviewed under the same compliance and risk management standards, and decisions are applied consistently across the platform. The options available regarding the Live Elite transition were communicated directly in writing during the review process. We understand that not every outcome aligns with a trader’s expectations, however ETF remains committed to applying its policies fairly and consistently for all users. If you would like us to review any remaining concerns directly, please contact [email protected]. ETF Team

Bunch of scammers

The platform and support work very well, the main problem is that they don't pay you. Bunch of scammers

Scam

They have so many rules designed for you to fail. Even if you have success you’ll get feed constantly and more hurdles put in your way. They pushed me to live when I started requesting multiple big payouts. I earned roughly 10,000 in my funded accounts and got pushed to live with an 1800 account. ETF sucks

Based on this review, we are unable to locate the account in question. We have reached out requesting more information but have not yet received a response. What we can confirm is that the transition to Live Elite is part of our program structure and is outlined in our Terms of Service, which every trader agrees to before purchasing. ETF reserves the right to transition traders at any time, including before, during, or after a payout request. For traders who choose to decline the Live Elite offer, the applicable payout and terms are clearly disclosed in our Terms of Service. Payout denials at ETF are never arbitrary. Scam scam scam !!!!!!

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with this prop trading firm. I paid activation fees for 5 Elite accounts, plus approximately $45 per month for each Rithmic account (5 accounts in total), while fully respecting all the rules imposed. I traded with discipline, respected the risk conditions, and reached the point where I was eligible for a payout. At the moment I requested the withdrawal of my profits, the situation suddenly changed: my account was moved to the Live Elite program, and my payout request was canceled without me having requested this change. From my perspective, this raises serious concerns, as the rules seem to change exactly when a trader becomes profitable and should be able to withdraw their earnings. Everything changes when a trader becomes profitable and represents a “threat” to the firm. Requests get blocked, payouts are not processed, and everything is nicely disguised under this so-called LIVE trading vision. As long as the trader has respected all conditions, they deserve to receive their profits, and only afterwards should a transition to LIVE be made with their consent; otherwise, the partnership should be closed. Of course, this is how serious firms operate, not scam ones. I tried to clarify the situation and request payment according to the initial conditions, but the responses were vague and did not lead to any concrete resolution. I believe this approach is highly problematic for traders, as it creates a lack of transparency and uncertainty regarding access to realized profits. I strongly recommend not investing money in challenges or activation fees. It is all a scam-like structure and you will not receive your money back. It is not worth it. There are other more serious firms out there. Low-cost challenges and “dream promises” often end up being nothing but a waste of time and money. From my personal experience, this was not a fair or transparent collaboration, and I would not choose to work with this company again, even if they offered to pay me my own money. Everything feels like a scam. Avoid at all costs.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We want to address a few points for clarity and correct some inaccuracies. The transition to Live Elite is part of our program structure and is outlined in our Terms of Service, which every trader agrees to before purchasing an evaluation. ETF reserves the right to transition traders at any time, including before, during, or after a payout request, based on overall performance, Active Trading Days, and total profit earned across accounts. Regarding sim-funded profits: the sim-funded stage uses simulated capital. When a trader transitions to Live Elite, they receive a real funded account with real money and real market execution. The structure of that transition, including account sizing and payout terms for those who choose to decline, is clearly disclosed in our Terms of Service prior to any purchase. For traders who choose to decline the Live Elite offer, the applicable payout is calculated in accordance with our Terms of Service. Our support team communicated this directly and provided full details of the decline terms. Our terms have been consistent and publicly available. We encourage all traders to review them in full before purchasing. We wish you the best in your trading. ETF Team

5/5 Prop firm

5/5 Followed the rules and got paid out within 48 hours. Good customer service and support. Great prop firm that is trustworthy and worth the cost. ETF has been in the prop space for many years now and is very established. I was invited to do this review after I received a payout. I'm not an affiliate and get nothing in return for this review. Just wanted to share my experience. Will update if anything changes. Looking forward to more payouts with them, thanks ETF!

3 years. 70+ attempts. Payout approved then denied. Sumsub offers a manual override. The firm said no.

UPDATE: ETF HAVE RESPONDED. HERE IS WHAT THEY LEFT OUT. ETF's public reply disputes several points but conveniently omits others. Here is what they did not address. On the name: their own registration form has two fields. First name and last name. No field for a third name exists. You cannot penalize a trader for a field you never provided. On the address: they acknowledge regional documentation differences but offer no solution for Kenyan traders whose national ID carries a lifelong origin address that will never match a current residential address. That is not a reconciliation failure. That is a system built without Africa in mind. On the Sumsub override: they did not deny the option exists. They confirmed they chose not to apply it. That is a choice, not a policy. On the Discord: every post I made was deleted. I was banned for 24 hours, then 7 days when the ban lifted. I never got to respond to a single community member. ETF said nothing about this in their response. On the terms they quoted: they cited a clause protecting their right to void payouts. They cited no obligation to ensure their KYC system works for the countries they profit from. The payout success page shows two Kenyan traders in two years. Two. This is not a rant. This is a record. ORIGINAL POST I have been with this firm for over three years, failing 70+ funded and evaluation accounts before finally passing and qualifying for my first payout on a 10K Static Elite Sim Funded account. No trading violations. Ever. My payout was approved. Then denied. My account was terminated. THE NAME ISSUE Your registration form asked for a first name and last name. Two fields. I filled them both correctly. There was no field for a middle or third name. After three years, my payout was partly denied because my full legal name, which includes a third name, was not on my profile. A name your own form never asked for. That is a design failure, not a compliance failure. THE ADDRESS ISSUE In Kenya, a national ID carries your place of origin, fixed for life regardless of where you currently live. My bank statement (Proof of Address) reflects my current urban address. These two will naturally differ for most Kenyan citizens. That is not fraud. That is how our documentation system works. Your KYC provider also requires a street address, house number, and flat number. Most of Kenya runs on P.O. Boxes. I cannot provide a street address that does not exist. I PREVIOUSLY COMPLETED KYC WITH THIS FIRM The firm underwent major structural changes over my three years here, including removing a KYC process I had already completed successfully. My identity was verified and accepted by this firm before. The documents have not changed. The firm's infrastructure did. I should not be penalized for that. SUMSUB OFFERS A MANUAL OVERRIDE. THE FIRM SAID NO. This is the most important detail. Sumsub, the firm's own KYC provider, recommended that my case could be resolved through manual verification with an exception. The firm has a clear path to resolve this fairly. They chose not to take it. Instead they kept the profits from my account, denied the payout, and refunded only the evaluation fee. After three years, 70+ attempts, and a legitimately earned payout, that was their choice. That is not compliance. That is deeply unethical. THE NUMBERS Check the firm's own payout success page. Over two years, only two Kenyan traders appear. Two. That is not coincidence. That is a systemic barrier quietly operating while the firm continues collecting challenge fees from across the continent. On top of all this, when I shared my experience on their Discord to warn other African traders, my posts were deleted and I was muted for 7 days. If you are based in Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania or anywhere in Africa where P.O. Boxes are standard and national IDs carry origin addresses, understand this: you may pass every evaluation, trade perfectly, and still be denied at the finish line. And this firm will decline the tools available to them to fix it. This is not a rant. This is a record.

We take reviews like this seriously and want to clarify several inaccuracies so other readers have a complete and accurate understanding. First, this matter was not related to trading performance. As stated, there were no trading violations involved. The outcome was based entirely on KYC identity verification requirements, which must be successfully completed before any payout can be processed. Second, the claim that the payout was “approved and then denied” is misleading. Payout requests may move through preliminary stages, but final approval is always contingent on successful identity verification. In this case, verification was not completed, so the payout could not be finalized. Third, regarding the name discrepancy: our requirements are not limited to how many fields appear on a signup form. Users are responsible for ensuring that their account reflects their full legal identity and that all submitted documents are consistent. In this case, the submitted documents reflected different name formats that could not be reliably matched. Fourth, regarding the address: while we understand that documentation standards vary by region, we still require a verifiable and consistent address that can be supported by acceptable proof. The documents provided contained multiple differing addresses and formats, which could not be reconciled into a single verifiable profile. Fifth, the statement that our verification provider recommended a “manual override” is not accurate in the way it is presented. While SumSub may support additional review methods, all verifications must still meet our internal compliance standards. Not all cases qualify for exceptions, particularly where core identity elements cannot be consistently established. Finally, we do not restrict participation based on region. We have users from many countries successfully complete verification and receive payouts. Each case is evaluated individually based on whether the required documentation standards are met. As a result of the failed KYC verification, the account was closed and applicable fees were refunded in accordance with our Terms of Service. Specifically, if any ETF Trader is unable to complete a Trader’s KYC onboarding process within seven (7) days from Trader’s submission of KYC documents, as solely determined by ETF, ETF reserves the right to deny or void any payouts that Trader would otherwise be entitled to, revoke access to that Trader’s Account(s), and deny Trader the use of any of ETF’s Services. We understand this outcome is disappointing, but KYC requirements are in place to ensure fairness, security, and compliance for all users. We want to address a few points for clarity and correct some inaccuracies. There are several paths that qualify you to trade real capital with the firm. Additionally, ETF reserves the right to move any trader to LIVE ELITE at any time. This could be during your evaluation, before a payout, during a payout or after a payout request. If we see the talent and believe you are ready, we will make that call when we think it is appropriate. When this happens, your sim account balance and sim earnings do not carry over. You are set up with a fixed LIVE ELITE starting balance funded with real capital that we invest in you. We invite you to read the article that explains the LIVE ELITE program in full detail at https://help.elitetraderfunding.com/help/live-elite-turning-strategy-into-income. It describes what happens to your evaluations, sim-funded accounts, how we determine the starting balance, and what the amount would be. All of this information is fully transparent and readily accessible for anyone to read. We expect our customers to read the agreements they sign, the communication that is sent to them via email, and understand that ETF is an evaluation service designed to help traders develop their skills and succeed in live markets. Our team remains available at [email protected] should you have any further questions about how our program works. ETF Team

100% a scam

100% a scam. Followed all their rules. Got funded. Made $13,000 in eight days. Went for my first cash payout. Used the appropriate third-party. Sumsub. They denied me authentication. Elite trader logged me out of my dashboard closed all my accounts. Refunded me $80 for the subscription. And kept the $13,000 I made. Also denied me my first payout.

Reply from Elite Trader Funding2026-04-16

We’re sorry to hear about your experience, and we’d like to clarify a few important points. All payouts are contingent on successfully completing our required verification and compliance checks, including identity verification through our third-party provider. In your case, the verification process was not successfully completed, which is a mandatory requirement before any payout can be approved. Because of this, the account was closed in accordance with our policies, and your subscription was refunded. We also want to note that all trading activity and account performance are fully recorded and reviewed internally. Any payout eligibility is determined based on both verified identity and compliance with our requirements. These procedures are applied consistently across all users to ensure a secure and fair environment. ETF Team

The $200 Trading Day Forced

I have passed my evaluation, and I'm not sure I want to activate my Elite Funded Account. First, it is quite pricey, and it looks like it rebills every month (unlike other firms). Secondly, is that I need to make $200 trading days, which requires more risk and trading more contracts, rather being conservative and taking what the market gives me. So I'm still considering if I want your Elite Funded account. Thanks for asking.

Reply from Elite Trader Funding2026-04-15

Congratulations on passing your evaluation! We appreciate you sharing your thoughts. On the activation fee, there are flexible options available to suit your preference, including a discounted monthly rate or a one-time fee, so you never have to worry about monthly billing again. You can review all the options in detail here: help.elitetraderfunding.com/help/what-are-the-elite-funded-account-fees Regarding the Active Trading Day requirement, this is in place to ensure consistent and disciplined trading rather than forcing larger risk. Trading conservatively within your strategy is absolutely encouraged. The requirement is simply that the day meets the minimum profit threshold to qualify. We hope this helps with your decision, and we look forward to having you on board! ETF Team

ETF IS A SCAM: CS helpful until you start costing them too much money

I got banned and all accounts deleted for irritating a customer service representative when I requested a review of my denied payout. Only after I requested a payout they notified me of a inactivity beach that occurred more than a month before. So I traded an account for over a month making over $3000 on a account that was no good for a breach that could have been avoided by sending an email. I found ETF firm but fair for most of the 2 years with them but they changed as soon as I started requesting regular payouts. Why waste a month of my time when I could be be trading one on my other 2 ETF accounts. If I broke the rules fine but tell me right away don't waste all of our resources. Go ahead and explain how it wasn't arbitrary, I'll wait!

Reply from Elite Trader Funding2026-04-15

We want to address a few points for clarity and correct some inaccuracies. Account closures at ETF are never arbitrary. The weekly trading requirement applies to all account types, including DTF accounts, and is clearly outlined in our Terms of Service, which every trader agrees to upon signing up. When traders do not meet this requirement, payouts are voided per our published policies. Our team communicated this on multiple occasions and made every effort to address the concerns raised. We wish you the best in your trading. ETF Team
