Loved it!
During my time at Stanford, I was able to learn so much, grow my mock trial skills, and learn from actual professors about court proceedings. I loved this experience, and genuinely the only thing that I would change about it is that not everyone took it seriously. And by that I mean some of the other students. However, there really is nothing that Envision can do about that. It is just how some people are. The location was beautiful and breathtaking, helping me realize that this is where I want to go to College.

I loved spending time with people my age
I loved spending time with people my age, exploring history and the food was pretty great. Forever grateful I was invited to this and so happy for the friends I made a long the way.

Extremely Disappointed
The program at the University of Michigan was an extreme disappointment. The build-up and communication leading up to the program were excellent, but once the students actually arrived, the experience was very mismanaged, disorganized, and completely different from what was promised. These students are 16–17 years old and capable of handling far more independence, but they were treated like elementary school children. Their so-called “free time” was not free time at all—they were confined to an auditorium and were not allowed to leave or do anything on their own. They weren’t permitted to return to their rooms independently, go for a run, or spend time exploring the campus. The staff seemed either afraid of the students or did not like them. In fact, one college staff member actually told the students that the professors were afraid of them. That is an incredibly concerning message to send to students who are there to learn and have a positive college experience. I did respond to an email later that week in which the program claimed that my daughter was having a great experience. I replied to let them know that was absolutely not the case, and I did appreciate receiving a response from them telling me they would be looking into it. The actual academic content was minimal. At one point, a teacher who was unfamiliar with the subject ended up having my daughter demonstrate how to suture to the class. This was particularly disappointing given the expectations that had been set for the program. Overall, the experience fell far short of what was promised especially for the money that we paid to send her. We will be informing our school district that, based on our daughter's experience, we would not recommend sending additional students to this program.

After the week was over...it just felt…Eh.
After the week was over...it just felt like a money grab. The overall experience for my son (and us) was OK. He enjoyed it...he had fun meeting new kids. But the marketing of the "STEM Camp" experience definitely left something to be desired. There were not as many (if any) guest speakers that were promised, they did very low level, basic STEM experiences. Sometimes, rooms were locked and not accessible for Game Night, WiFi wasn't working for robotics robot they built, etc. I get it...stuff will happen...we just felt overall we didn't get as much "bang for our buck" as we wanted. The welcome was awesome. Lot's of good energy from the staff. Very organized and easy to register, etc. The location (Villanova) was really nice too. Would we do it again? Probably not...the price tag was high considering what the return was.

Good exposure to the college experience
My child got a good exposure to the college experience. Dropping her off really felt like the real thing as the staff helped us in-process, placing the responsibility onto the students. We moved her into the dorm, and after a couple of hours, the parents were sent on our way, and the experience began. The students were challenged, had meaningful engagements with industry professionals, and not only saw a possible college experience but also exposure to the real world. In this case, the various agencies in the MDW area. My kid has the oppertunity to get some college credit. The program is a little costly but I am happy with the outcome as is my teenager.

Great Learning Experience
I'm truly happy that my son enjoyed a great learning experience outside of school this summer. Safety, meals and classes was properly organized. Teachers and assistant was patient, kind and helpful. Accommodation was disorientated, a dirty room was given but issues was fixed quickly. Thank you once again.

Curfew and food need improvement
Mostly everything was perfect, I just thought that the curfew at night was very strict and that the food provided was mainly only carbs and had little nutricional value. The day we had tacos was my favorite because there was a variety of different nutrients and proteins and veggies etc.

My daughter had an overall amazing…
My daughter had an overall amazing experience! It was a great opportunity from both a social and educational perspective. My only constructive feedback would be to add a fan and extension cord to the recommended items. It was the middle of summer and the dorms were extremely hot. Almost every parent was leaving to purchase a fan at drop off when they realized this. Definitely something that should have been better communicated. The other thing would be distribution of room keys at check in. Check in to the program to get your name badge and group info was super easy and quick! But then everyone funneled into 1 line for a room key and it took over an hour and a half in the line. There has to be a more efficient way. Otherwise, I would highly recommend the programs and might consider another next summer!

They worked with my daughter to ease…
They worked with my daughter to ease the discomfort of her original roommates parents, but with the college I couldn't move her into her dorm. It also took the college a few days to get her a dorm key. As for the STEM program, I didn't receive any photos from the gallery of her doing any actual STEM activities, which was the main reason for going. All we received were her socializing and walking around.

The staff was communicative and alleviated any concerns. Location and surrounding areas were easy to walk around and good ratio between staff and conference attendees.

The program is a 9.5/10!
My son, Jonathan stated that he gave his experience in the JrNYL program a 9.5/10. He enjoyed the field trips to the various educational sites, especially the Carter Library of Congress. He looved the food, lol! He looved the activities/games they had which were engaging, fun and helped with discovering some leadership skills he did not know he had. I am eternally grateful for this opportunity for him to experience such an enriching, fun and impactful week! Thank you Envision for what you do - helping to shape our next world leaders! One thing I would like to suggest is if their is a change in the location or area, please inform your site director and the staff to also change the directions to the new location before parents arrive on the first day as well sending out an email or text to parents of the change as soon as you can. Other than that thank you for this amazing opportunity!

This was a great experience for our son…
This was a great experience for our son who is considering a career in culinary arts. Having the opportunity to get a taste of CIA was invaluable. The Envision staff were great, everything was well organized and they kept everything running smoothly. Highly recommend.

Great experience for first timer
It was our first experience with this program. Our 9yr old was very happy with the five days. It’s interesting for them to be exposed to college campus sort of environment. The only feedback we had was the last day pickup. We wish they rearranged how parents are let in so we could hear more about their group project from the kids.

Program was great, location wasn't
The program was great, although a little unorganized. The location was overcrowded; the dining hall was too small, and meal times and the bathrooms were too crowded.

My experience was amazing because…
My experience was amazing because all the staff were nice and tried to have fun with not just me, but everyone. I also met people who had the same interests as me, so I was able to build and form connections. In addition I learned some important qualities of a leader that I didn’t know. Lastly, the offsite visits showed me sights and leaders that helped make an important change.

This program is amazing
My son had such a Fantastic time there! He told me all about the things he learned, and the places he visited. I am so happy and I really appreciate how amazing the teachers are! I want to say thank you to all the staff for protecting and teaching Ahmed! I especially thank Bryan, Raquel, April,Ty, and Sequita for ensuring Ahmed had a great time at the program! They also helped Ahmed with a little incident he had, and it quickly got resolved! They are very quick to help, and they always care for the students!
