It was amazing!

My daughter had such a fantastic time, she learned so much about medicine, and got to listen to real life doctors. She also told me that she engaged in many activities, like taking bloodwork, and practicing surgery. She absolutely loved the program!

It was a different experience

It was a different experience. Everyone was nice, I got to meet new people and make new friends; I got to stay in the yale dorm room. We did not get to go tour the big college yale itself. I believe we could have done more hands-on training. We could have shadow a doctor or even a nurse. They could have even Incorporated teaching CPR so students could get certified. I think it was to expense for the little training that we did.

The learning opportunities were amazing…

The learning opportunities were amazing and the people teaching were very capable and trustworthy. But, there was a slight problem with communication, meaning that there was a large amount of confusion on where to meet up or if you have a ride to the airport.

It is rigorous and highly rewarding.

The camp was amazing. Super helpful and friendly advisors with a ton of real world prep that extended beyond the basics of law. Fun activities and a lot of hands-on experiences.

Overpriced, didn't deliver the basics...

This was a huge expense that I thought was for an amazing leadership conference and opportunity for my daughter to engage with others. Instead, she said kids were on TikTok a ton and basically on their phones throughout the day. When they visited Mount Vernon, they NEVER walked around the house, they only visited the museum. Flying my daughter across the nation for enrichment is beyond disappointing to hear that kids were watching their phones and the excursions didn't add up. DO BETTER. don't advertise a great opportunity and no provide one! Overpriced, low standards and unorganized - didn't provide what was on the schedule.

Best week of my life!!

When I first heard about the program, nothing came to mind about it being fun or doing activities with everyone. But once we got through the first day, I knew that it wasn't going to be all about learning. All the advisors made it feel like a REAL college experience. Every new day, I knew that we were going to learn---obviously---but also were going to have fun. Each day was always a blast! With every passing minute, the advisors kept increasing the hype, and it was never a dull moment in the lecture room. Every one of the 230 people in this group was just a ball of energy, and I absolutely loved it. And I will truly miss my firm, the best firm of all, which is.... the Ginsburg firm! Thank you, Evan & Aya, for the best experience of my life.

The organization for departures daily…

The organization for departures daily was difficult to navigate as there was a "new approach" every day. This made it difficult to know about how much time it would take to check my child out and pass information along to another parent picking up. It was disorganized the last day as well, there was no direction provided to parents that the "presentations" would be taking place in a different building. So in addition to the disorganization of sign out, there was time lost in navigating campus to another site. I will applaud the marketing team of Envision, as the letters sent home and website make this program appear to be more "elite" than it is for the price point. I was disappointed to see cardboard used for the roller coasters, and the quality of materials used and how the day was managed. There appeared to be quite a bit of downtime and not as much attention and guidance during activities (that again would be expected for the price point) TLDR: Loved the blood spatter and heart dissection Loved the take home lantern Disappointed in lack of consistency and communication Disappointed in lack of direction/attention to campers during the day for the price point Disappointed by the quality of materials for the price point.

I like the opportunities they offer the youth.

I like the opportunities they off the youth. I didn't like the check out system. I found out we could of visited with our son on campus a days after he had already been there.

Two things that made my experience wonderful

Two things that made my experience memorable at the explore stem camp was meeting new people and getting new unique learning experiences. I really enjoyed learning about forensic sciences and medicine. I also got the opportunity to meet people from different places and make amazing new friends. The staff were all really kind and approachable. UC Berkeley was also a really nice campus.

My Envision Experience

Attending JrNYLC, for July 12-17, was an unforgettable experience. Throughout the week, I learned so much about the influential leaders who shaped our nation while exploring Washington D.C.'s museums and monuments. More importantly, the program pushed me out of my comfort zone a bit. I improved my leadership and communication skills by collaborating with new people, and learning to value different perspectives. Staying on a college campus was another major highlight, and living in a dorm with a roommate gave me a fun, first-hand taste of what college life is actually like. Overall, this trip was an amazing opportunity that helped me grow both personally and academically, and I would definitely recommend it to any student looking to build their confidence for the future.

Ms. Miracle was super nice, the boys upstairs where being loud and she came down to ask if everything was ok and stop the boys. My stay was great I made new friends, talked to people, and even publicly spoke for the first time it was fun. I would 100% do it again

I really enjoyed my time at Envision. My favorite parts were flying the plane and learning about drones. I also thought it was cool to learn about electrical circuits and how aircraft systems work together. I learned a lot, and the hands-on activities made everything more interesting. The program made me even more excited about engineering and aviation. I’d definitely recommend it to other students who are interested in STEM.

The Envision Experience in Washington, D.C.: A Reflection and Suggestions for Improvement The Envision trip to Washington, D.C., was an unforgettable experience that gave students the chance to learn outside of the classroom, visit historic landmarks, and explore world-famous museums. Overall, I would rate the experience 8 out of 10. The program offered many educational opportunities and allowed students to see places they may never have visited otherwise. However, there were several areas where better planning could have made the trip more enjoyable and less stressful. One of the biggest challenges was that the groups were often too large. Walking through crowded museums with so many students made it difficult to see exhibits, hear instructors, and move at a comfortable pace. Many students had to wait for others before continuing, which slowed down the entire group. Smaller groups would have allowed everyone to participate more actively and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed or crowded. Another issue was the limited amount of time at each museum. Washington, D.C., is home to some of the most fascinating museums in the world, but there often was not enough time to fully appreciate them. Students had to move quickly from one exhibit to another, leaving little opportunity to read displays, ask questions, or explore personal interests. Extending museum visits by even an hour would have created a more meaningful learning experience. The schedule could also have been organized more efficiently. Some time was spent waiting for buses or gathering everyone together, reducing the time available for exploring attractions. Planning shorter travel times, staggering group departures, or assigning different museums to different groups at different times could have prevented overcrowding and made the schedule run more smoothly. Despite these improvements that could be made, the Envision program was still an incredible opportunity. Visiting the nation's capital, seeing historic monuments, and learning about American history firsthand made the trip memorable. With better organization, smaller groups, and more time at each museum, the experience could easily become a 10 out of 10, allowing every student to fully enjoy everything Washington, D.C., has to offer.
