I bought a Flextail Mat R05 Mummy Shape and have used it less than a handful of times. Unfortunately, one of the baffles has already burst, rendering the mat unusable.
I appreciate that the mat is now outside its warranty period, but given how little use it has had, I contacted Flextail to see if there was anything they could do to help. Unfortunately, I haven't received a response.
It's disappointing to see a product fail after so little use, but even more disappointing is the lack of customer service when I reached out for assistance. Based on this experience, I certainly won't be recommending Flextail products to others, and I won't be purchasing any of their products again.
We bought the Flextailgear MAX PUMP 2 PRO for our packraft. After just TWO uses, it was finished. The battery was empty and the pump simply refused to charge again.
For a product marketed as outdoor gear, this is extremely disappointing.
Outdoor equipment should be reliable — especially when you take it travelling and depend on it in places where replacing it isn’t easy.
Two uses and then straight to the bin is simply unacceptable.
In our experience, this product is a complete waste of money.
Our advice: stay away from this pump and spend your money on something more reliable.
The only positive part of the experience was the retailer. They immediately refunded us without any discussion or hassle. Excellent service from them — unfortunately, we can’t say the same about the quality of the product.
I bought a 10,000 mAh Zero Power Bank from FLEXTAIL. The Power Bank that will not accept a charge and is virtually a paper weight and unusable. The item is brand new and first time attempted use. I have sent multiple emails to the only available warranty site through FLEXTAIL and can’t get any response back. It appears I have wasted $50.00 please don’t do the same. A terrible company!
Have purchased a few items from here and recommend to a friend. He purchased, the item went missing and Flextail didn't help at all. Very disappointing - avoid.

Purchased a Flextail zero R05 mattress via their official Aliexpress store.
It arrived in good time but unfortunately, after it's first use on a camping trip. It wouldn't hold air. As it was after Aliexpress's return window, they said they couldn't help and that I should contact Flextail direct for a warranty claim.
Flextail have thus far failed to answer my numerous support requests. I am now £80 lighter with a product that's faulty. If you're thinking of Purchasing from them, think again!!
Like people say, scammers. Site looks all official and professional, payment went to Whaletail technologies, this didn't alarm me as not unusual. Received tracking information and get bombarded with marketing emails. No response from Flextail support emails. No response from Tommy-Lee as seller hiding as Whaletail, in turn hiding as flextailgear.com, which I only found out after going through PayPal. A month later nothing delivered and tracking says not shipped from China. Fortunately PayPal handling dispute for me.

Tracking shows it being stuck 2 weeks ago but they keep sending me the same generic email with the tracking details.
Also, they're a cheap rubbish chinese company!!!
I bought two pumps with them - both total crap.
The Flextail Zero stopped working after 3 times./
The Max Boat did not work on the most basic inflatable kayaks.
Worst of all, several attempt to get some advise from their support team yielded zero reponses. Instead, their Flextail support just spams me with advertising.

I think I had a better experience than most people on here, I brought a small pump back in 2023 i used a few times and was very impressed, however I went to use it again at the end of 2024. It had stopped working, I contacted the company at the begining of 2025 and they sent me a new unit, I am not sure how long it will work. I was happy with the outcome.
Purchased a 'FLEXTAIL TINY REPEL- 3-in-1 Mosquito Repellent with Camping Lantern' which failed. Contacted Flextail authorised supplier (in Australia) who ghosted me and didn't even bother to acknowledge my claim, despite the fact I purchased from them.
Contacted Flextail directly and advised I wasn't getting any response from their Australian distributor - they said there was nothing they could do ...
Tried again with Australian distributor - still nothing.
I understand products fail but the lack of communication, any sort of warranty and dismal after-sales 'service' by Flextail is unprofessional and unscrupulous.
Terrible company! Avoid! I still haven’t received my goods after 51 days. I keep getting the same message stuck in customs. I have contacted them a number of times. Initially they replied now I haven’t heard from them in weeks
What a company, sells very bad stuff. The service is poor, especially the pumps do not break after 5 times. This is a product fault and they have a 1 year warranty. What a bad company.
Repellant is a waste of money, don’t waste yours too! Has not been in any way effective on any camping trip I’ve used it on. Back using citronella candles and a fly swatter that does more than this. Hugely disappointing. I had insects landing on it and crawling around it. All it is is a camping light…. A very expensive one. Don’t waste your money people. False advertising.
the mosquitoes keep flying and biting. I put up two and it's no better. I bought rubbish for a lot of money.
the mosquitoes are happy and everything else that can fly isn't bothered by it.
