We have had the Gabb watch for our 11 year daughter for 2 years now. It has been great to be able to connect with her when needed and we love that we can monitor who she is in contact with by being able to manage her contacts.

Overall easy to use . Was hard to activate as your website was down at the time. It’s a birthday gift and we are still waiting to actually let her use to.

So far so good with the Gabb phone 4 for my almost 11 year old. Set up was relatively easy. He is so excited to have a way to directly communicate with friends and family, and I am so excited the device’s safety and age-appropriateness has been thought through so well! Also customer service has been excellent — very responsive and friendly.

The watch does exactly what I need it to do. The platform is easy to navigate and set up if fluid. A little patience is needed because new devices need to be updated and restarted a few times before everything syncs. Overall, well worth the wait.

The Gabb phone has some good things going for it (flagging potentially suspicious texts, location tracking) but the problems with the phone may outweigh those benefits. There is no way to know when someone left a voicemail other than always checking the voicemail. There is no notification otherwise. And when a call is missed, it seems to tally all calls ever missed such that it'll show 40-something missed calls when maybe it was just 1 or 2. I tried troubleshooting the voicemail issues with Gabb reps a couple times, no luck. It was hard enough transferring an existing phone number to the Gabb phone. I had been warned about setup issues by my sister-in-law but thought maybe it was just because her son had the Gabb watch. She ended up ditching the watch and getting something else for her son after awhile. I can't say I recommend this phone, at least not in its basic form (no web/apps, just phone, text, camera).

We purchased a watch 2 years ago for my son. So now that he is ready for a phone, it was a no brainer to stick with Gabb. The purchasing, shipping and transfer/setup of new device was quick and easy. As parents, we enjoy being able to monitor usage for safety while allowing him opportunity to stay I communication with friends outside of school. Great stater devices that allow parents security!

GABB phone Support is Awesome!! Yesterday received our new phone and it didn’t work right. Couldn’t call, receive calls or get or make texts. The support team took the time to stay with me till we got it working!! It took quite a while but they stayed with me and didn’t give up and now today we have a working phone!!

I have had a grand total of 6 gabb watches for my kids. Failure rate in their hardware is way too high. When the device isn’t pending a software update inexplicably failing to connect to a cell towers or refusing to produce location data it does at least manage to be a lower tier smart watch. Of course that was as of 10 months ago. The last watch working gave up the ghost. The line stayed active because gabb refused to admit their hardware failed and wanted me to buy a whole new device or pay $140 early cancellation fee. I can not stress this enough……do not get Gabb if you have any other options. The price is appealing but even as cheap as they are, you will not get what you are paying for.

So far, so good with the Gabb 4 phone. This is a great starter phone for my 11 yr old son. He is able to message family and friends, plus we can track where he is at, as well as the phone calls and text messages he sends and receives.
