Phone works great for my 12 year old. She has everything she needs with texting and calling, to include group chats with her friends. I appreciate the emails I get when messages are flagged for being inappropriate. Phone service seems to works pretty well everywhere, with not many dead zones. Without social media, it gives me piece of mind that my daughter is safe from online creeps

As parents we were really hesitant to get a phone for our kids because of the safety and wellbeing issues that have emerged in recent years. However, with a preteens in the house using my cell phone wasn’t realistic in the long run and we needed a baby step to help with giving our kids independence & support their ability to connect socially. Gabb has met all our needs with no internet & locked down contacts, but allowing phone calls and txting which a landline or flip phone doesn’t offer. The apps are basic so I’m not worried about over use, it’s been a great investment!
