The Place to Purchase Apple Laptops!
The purchasing process was very simple. The financing options makes it even easier to purchase new equipment while considering cash flow. I was approved for 0% and it was a no brainer. My laptop arrives quicker than expected and everything arrived exactly as ordered. I would choose Upgraded for my next laptop without hesitation.
I would love to see some additional Apple options other than laptops. Perhaps monitors, iPads, etc. I understand there are many challenges with this business model. If this could be figured out, I can see Upgraded really being the "go to" place for all Apple gear in the future.
I wish the team all the best success. Keep up the good work.
Why isn’t everyone doing this?! As an iPhone upgrade program user from the start, I always wished for a similar program! I’m already looking forward to being able to upgrade in 2 years and it totally removes the FOMO and wondering if now a good time to buy or if you’ll end up buying the “old” model right before they announce a new one!
Best part is - shipping could’ve taken 4 weeks or more for a custom order Mac from China but was SO surprised to see it arrive weeks earlier than I expected 🤩
Upgraded is a great way to stay up to date with Apple products. They also just signed up to use Affirm which opened up the credit line approval for more people. The delivery was quick (2-3 days) and they made it super easy to get payments set up. The account also provides full transparency for all aspects of the program including payment dates, date eligible for upgrades, and the benefits of paying early.
GetUpgraded.com has been getting some criticisms on the boards for sticking with MSRPs and partnering with supposedly predatory BNPL providers like Affirm. IMO, there are three distinct use cases that this works best in:
- You need AppleCare+ (business/school where the system hardly stays in one place for more than a day)
- Your situation (or desire) requires that you trade-up often. Hey, maybe you're too busy to take care of the laptop, you plug in whatever charger is available, don't wipe the cheetos off your fingertips before typing, etc.
- You're a new business, but you don't like Apple's business financing offers, or don't care about ABM.
- You checked out tryequipped.com and felt its catalog of devices aren't exactly for you personally, but they're good enough for your employees.
