Effective Action and Professional Handling
My experience was positive because the complaint process was clear and handled in a professional manner. The response was timely, and the outcome was communicated concisely without unnecessary back-and-forth. I appreciate that the company took action by placing the domain under client hold, which shows attention to reported issues and a commitment to enforcing policies. Overall, the transparency and responsiveness of the support team are areas the company is doing well.
GNAME allows active phishing & brand impersonation – refuses to act
GNAME is currently hosting and maintaining a clear phishing and brand impersonation operation, and despite multiple formal abuse reports, they have failed to take action. A fraudulent domain registered via GNAME is impersonating my legitimate website (main domain ) betra.bet, (current domain ) 449betra.com by: Copying our brand identity and visual design Misleading users into believing it is our official site Operating with cloned assets and deceptive content Using subdomains to store copied materials and bypass basic protections This is an active phishing operation, not a trademark dispute. I have submitted multiple abuse tickets to GNAME, including the following reference numbers: GW2025121816337615 GW2025121906554420 GW2025121800595035 GW2025121615588702 Despite providing clear evidence, screenshots, and domain details, GNAME continues to delay with generic responses like “1–5 business days” while the phishing site remains fully operational. By allowing this to continue, GNAME is: Enabling online fraud Exposing users to credential theft Failing its basic responsibilities as a domain registrar If this issue is not resolved immediately, further escalation will be made to: ICANN Anti-phishing databases Search engine security teams Legal authorities I strongly advise others to avoid GNAME if they value security, abuse handling, and responsible domain management.
Hey there! We've just reviewed those case logs, and thanks for getting those trademark documents over to us. We now have everything we need, so we’re moving forward with the takedown right away.

Registrar company that allows SCAM websites
This registrar acts like it’s completely fine for scam websites to operate under their watch. We've asked them three times to take down the fraudulent sites below, and every single time Gname drags things out. Instead of actually doing anything, they demands at us to provide trademark papers, copyright certificates, declarations, power of attorney…anything to avoid taking action. It feels like they’re doing everything except dealing with the obvious scams right in front of them. baxtonstudiostore.com cabinetssalesstore.com homebaxtonstudio.com 1st Update: Apparently, below is their responses which is really unprofessional and deceiving, if gname.com did their research for above 3 fraudulent sites, it's obvious that these are scam websites using our brand, all below documents should be requested from above scam websites to confirm validity prior to allowing them to operate online. We need above 3 SCAM WEBSITES to be removed immediately. 2nd Update: Again, you should request these valid documents from the scam websites (as your registration process should approve these companies with these documents, without these documents, how did you even approve them?), we DO NOT trust and did not register from your site and will not be supplying you with any of these documents. We need above 3 SCAM WEBSITES to be removed immediately.
Update: Hey there. We do not involve ourselves in the businesses of our users. Without proof of ownership, we are unable to determine that the reported sites are illegitimate. We'd kindly request you to submit proof of ownership of this business so that we can ensure proper takedown. Because if we were to commence takedown without proof of ownership, so can illegitimate sites. Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We understand how frustrating it can be to encounter websites you believe are engaging in fraudulent activity, and we take reports like yours seriously. As a domain registrar, we are required to follow established legal and regulatory processes before taking action on a domain name. In many cases, this means requesting documentation—such as trademark certificates, proof of copyright ownership, or authorization from affected rights holders—so we can verify the claim and ensure that any action we take is both lawful and justified. We recognize that this can feel burdensome, but these requirements exist to prevent improper or unauthorized takedown requests, which could otherwise be misused. That said, your experience should still feel supported and heard. We are reviewing the information you have provided and encourage you to share any additional documentation that may help us move more quickly. Our abuse team remains committed to addressing valid reports as efficiently as possible while complying with legal obligations that govern registrars. If you would like to continue the conversation directly, please reach out to us at [email protected], and we will be glad to assist further. Thank you again for raising this to our attention.

I deposit lot of money in bitmatrix…
I deposit lot of money in bitmatrix option trading now that site blocked that site registered in gname registered how your company register fraud site
Hey there. We’re really sorry to hear that you’ve been affected by fraud — that’s an awful experience, and we know how stressful it can be. As a registrar, we work hard to make sure only legitimate businesses stay online, and we take action when we identify malicious or harmful sites. In this situation, the best next step is to reach out to your local law enforcement, who can guide you through the process and help ensure the issue is handled appropriately.
Is this Domain registrar a scam?
My friend mistakenly took task scams and her funds got frozen in an account. As it was a scam, she couldn't contact the administrator. So she mailed gname as they are the registrar. 1. At first, she mailed her details to gname, for what gname responded to report in abuse, but the link was not working. 2. The scammers site has redirect service with gname, so she mailed again to contact the web admin with all the details she had. What she had in return? Her internal link alone blocked with all the frozen assets. But the same scam group still conduct task scam with scammers and ignorant people. Why established domain registrars support scammers like this? It's disgusting to see the responses. (Note: It had a redirect service before taking down the website)
If you’re seeing a redirect to us, it’s because we’ve had to take down the original website, and its owners no longer have control of the domain. We understand situations like this can be unsettling, and we want to make sure the next steps are handled properly. To move forward, we’ll need your local law enforcement to contact us directly. This helps ensure that everything is managed safely and in accordance with international legal requirements.
Great Support for Abuse Case Resolution
My experience submitting an abuse report was smooth and efficient. The process was clear, and the response time was fast. I appreciate that the domain was investigated quickly and placed under Client Hold to prevent further abuse. What the company is doing well: Fast handling of abuse cases Clear communication and status updates Easy-to-use reporting system Overall, the process was helpful and handled professionally.

Be careful registering any domain in this registrar. This is the worst registrar I ever used. They abuse you to keep the domain in their bad platform and dont allow to transfer it out.
Hi there! I completely understand wanting to make sure the transfer process goes smoothly. The good news is it’s quite straightforward — just log in to your dashboard, head to 'Domain Management', and select 'Transfer Out' to choose the domains you’d like to move.
