I would recommend Upload Junk Removal. Arranging pick up was super easy and convenient. I submitted my request the evening before and they picked up the next morning. The guys that showed up were friendly and professional and got the job done quickly. I thought the price was reasonable for the number and size of the items removed. The ease and convenience of the process in addition to the satisfaction of clearing my space made it money well spent.
This company is trash. Do not get robbed by them. TL;DR - They contract out for the "loaders" and do NOT guarantee someone will show up when they say they will. And their cancelation policy is ridiculous. Full story - I needed some old furniture removed from the apartment that I had already moved out of. I paid online on a Friday and chose my pick up date (the following Monday) and time window (8am - 12pm). They have 4 hour windows. Received a confirmation right away - so far so good. Sunday night I texted the customer service number to confirm my time slot for the next morning because I hadn't received anything from them since Friday when I booked and I thought I was supposed to get a text saying who my loader would be the night before my appointment. They replied with a confirmation but still no info on the loader. Come Monday morning, I head over to the apartment to get there by 8am in case the loader shows up right on time. At 8:10 I receive a text saying my loader's name is Joshua and his phone number to reach out if need be. I think, cool, he'll be coming over soon. Hours go by and I get nothing. I text his number at 10:00 asking for an ETA and get no response. I wait another hour and text again - nothing. So I call his number at it goes straight to voicemail. Now I'm pissed. I text LoadUp's customer service number again for assistance and they say they'll try to find another loader by the end of the day. WHAT?! I tell them I can't stay until the end of the day, which is why I chose the morning slot in the first place. They say sorry, we can't guarantee the time slot. WHAT?! They then tell me that they found another lander for me who will be there between 7 and 8 pm. WHAT?! I tell them AGAIN that I cannot stay at the apartment that long and to please just refund my money and I'll find someone else. They tell me that they can only refund 50% of my payment since I'm cancelling on the same day. WHAT?! They are the ones who cancelled when they never showed up!!! I really with I had read the reviews on here before booking, but I was in a hurry to find someone quickly. That's my fault. I hope others take this and other negative reviews for this company seriously. They are terrible. If you are in the greater Sacramento area, I recommend going with American River Hauling and Junk Removal. I ended up calling them and they came the next day within the ONE HOUR window that they told me and they were great. Didn't have to pay upfront and they were cheaper than LoadUp.
Loaders arrived promptly within time frame eta..they navigated the dismantling and loading with precision and efficiency. Will call this company for any future needs.
Kept me informed of arrival time and arrived within the arrival window. Removed the old mattress & frame support. Unboxed & setup the adjustable platform and checked that it worked correctly. Unboxed and installed the mattress. Removed the packaging materials and left me the boxes that I wanted to keep. Affable & knowledgeable.

I had used this company once before and scheduled to use them again for what I believed would that same morning as I needed something removed ASAP. When I received the confirmation a few moments later, I immediately realized it was for the next day so I cancelled the pickup right away and also contacted the company explaining the situation. Buried in the fine print is a statement saying they only refund you 80% if you cancel. In other words, they charge you when they did nothing whatsoever. Secondly, the person I spoke with claimed the job had already been assigned to someone and that was why 20% of the cost had been withheld. This quite frankly was lying. How do I know this? Because the first time I received a confirmation email which stated it had been assigned to someone and this time I did not! Buyer beware! While I had to pay a bit more, their competitor was able to do my pick up within two hours, not a day and a half and I paid when the job was completed, not in advance which is how it should be done. Having to pay 100% up front and having a no refund policy gives the customer little recourse if a problem arises or if the job is done poorly or not done at all. Once again, buyer beware!
Great company. I unfortunately, like the silly lil guy I am, broke my 65 inch TV while moving. I learned you couldn't just throw them away (understandable) so I had to call Load Up to come get the old one so I could put in the new one. They were quick, professional, and understanding of my shenanigans. 10/10 would recommend. Not to mention affordable. I paid a great price, personally. Check em out!

I didn't expect much when I stumbled across the listing on Google. I scheduled for the next afternoon, fully expecting to be blown off or rescheduled for the short notice. I was very wrong. Email and text communication was timely and accurate, the two loaders arrived promptly as scheduled, took care of everything that was expected and a few things that weren't. Quick, safe, efficient.
