Love the products I got!
I could not find a good clean braunschweiger so I tried US Wellness Meats. It was awesome. They also had garlic hotdogs with clean ingredients and they where great also. For my steak I cut up Eye of Round into steaks. Those were really good too. I found another meat place I could trust. Thank you.

Love many of the products
Love many of the products. They come frozen and in timely manner. The cheese is fabulous. It is made with whole milk and has no dyes or additives.
First Impression.... ?
The whole process was very smooth and streamlined. It was my first time ordering from USWM as a recommendation from someone so I wanted to check them out and support. I was not let down by their service and foods. I had a last minute revision in my order that I wanted to make and Abby was very attentive. When my order was made I received my order within the next day being on the being on the west coast. All of the food I ordered was delicious; chicken skins, chicken thighs, chicken wings, summer sausage, head cheese, ground beef etc. One highlight to note were the hot dogs, as they were the best hot dogs I've ever had! It had a very fresh and pronounced beef taste, leaving no need to question its legitimacy and quality, you're getting the real deal! as nature intended. I'll be regularly ordering again and am glad I've came across the wonderful fold over at USWM.

I buy mostly the pre-cooked Brisket and Shredded Beef. I love that it's grass-fed with no sugar or additives. And it's convenient, easy to re-heat, and delicious!

Bad Packaging
I have been purchasing from US wellness meats for about six or seven years at this point and their packaging has just gotten progressively worse. Mostly everything I get now is not completely vacuum sealed which is a huge issue for me because I like to thaw out something different each day in a bowl of water. When there’s even a tiny hole in the packaging, it completely ruins the meat. I’m tired of being gaslit by customer service and being told that this is not an issue and doesn’t cause freezer burn which it obviously does.

My favorite USWM product is their leaf lard. (No, I’m not kidding.) I make pies and pasties (meat pies) and this lard is the best—because of the pure flavor and product consistency. Their meats are excellent as well. Generous cuts with just the right amount of marbling in all the right places.

The Best Grass fed/finished Beef
Ok, this is the last time I try another beef company. The reason I ordered from another company was because the price of beef has gone up considerably so I was trying to save a few dollars. I don't know why there is such a quality difference between ranchers but the meat I buy from US Wellness Meats Grass fed Grass finished beef always turns out moist and tender when cooked. It took me a bit to learn how to cook grass fed/finished beef but once I did, I figured the cooking methods would be the same for any grass fed/finished beef no matter where it came from. I was wrong. The beef I have tried elsewhere that is supposed to be grass fed/finished comes out dry, hard and tough even though I cook it low and slow just like I do with the US Wellness meat. I hope to learn why there is such a difference one day....maybe it is in the processing of the meat(???) I don't know. So in the meantime, I will have to budget accordingly to make sure I can buy from US Wellness meats from now on. Thank you US Wellness Meat for doing whatever it is you do to make eating beef so tasty, moist and enjoyable!
