Spot makes it very simple to place a claim with lots of options for doing so. I chose to use snail mail and have had no difficulty. Spot lets me know when they receive my claim, when they have processed the claim, and what the payment is. I find Spot a very good pet insurance and will recommend Spot to my friends.

Once I reviewed my policy and met the deductibles I was able to submit my claim. We all need to read what is covered, my two rescues are my family and need to treat them as such. The policy paid the portion within a couple of days.

Spot truly cares about their customers and their pets!! Claims are processed super quickly, and I can have a peace of mind knowing that if anything were to happen to my cat, Spot will be there for me.
Issues with submitting paperwork for claim
I couldn't submit paperwork for my dogs claim through both the app and website. Other then that customer service was decent.

Challenging Service
One of the most challenging pet insurance experiences. To top it off, they were not covering at 80%… when I called to cancel I was met with a representative that tried to tell me I was wrong with what I was being reimbursed by MetLife even though I was looking at the explanation of benefits and reading off exactly what was submitted and what I was being reimbursed (90%). He was looking at their website and saying that’s not what he was seeing. What he didn’t know is that I had a special plan with MetLife that you can only get by calling in. I would not recommend others to spot and ultimately I have told my mom and her best friend about the experience, as they followed me to spot.

One of my daschunds fell sick unexpectedly and had to spend several nights in the hospital. Submitting a claim via Spot's website was super easy and intuitive. You can also track the status of the processing of your claim. It didn't take long before my claim was processed and my reimbursement was issued. I am super pleased with Spots services thus far.
