I called Customer Service several times, and the customer service rep was helpful in figuring out the answer to my question. They covered things that I didn't think would be covered by my policy. It took a little bit of effort for me to submit all the info they required, but once that was done the process moved relatively quickly. Only issue was that the website didn't show updates to what was happening with my claim right away, but I was able to call Customer Service and they verified where we were in the process.
I am stunned to see such a fake high star number for this company. This is absolutely one of the worst insurance companies I’ve ever worked with. I regret switching over from MetLife to this company. They are a true example of a bait and switch company. I have a very healthy puppy and just went for a small scratch in her ear. They simply declined the claim pointed to some records that does not exist in the last two years. Do not trust this insurance company for your pet.

Spot has taken care of my reimbursement as expected. My last pet insurance company did not, I had to file a complaint to get them to correct the diagnosis code.
The worst. The customer service is terrible. Documents won't upload. Representatives have heavy accents, and the calls cut out. It's beenover 3 months and many phone calls and they are still working on processing a claim. I don't want to do this, for what I hope will be at least another 10 years, so I'm going to search for different insurance. I loved Healthy Paws customer service, they just don't offer the higher coverage brackets.
