I have been purchasing items from Grimfrost for about a year and a half now and every single item I have ordered from silver work to t-shirts to beard oil has been of outstanding quality. Customer service has also been of the highest order. Delivery is quick, and the thank you notes and little extras as well as follow up emails after the package is delivered are greatly appreciated and the mark of a professional company that takes pride in what they do. I am very happy I found this company and am sure to be a customer for many years to come.

Grimfrost sell quality Viking gear for reeactment and living history, I've been able to outfit my son with high quality clothing and armour at an affordable price for his adventures into the Viking lifestyle. All the items have been of the highest quality and have endured hours of reenactment and living history activities. And, as my son is over 6'5" it's nice to find everything except boots that fit him. Their service is first rate with items arriving in Australia in a week. Be good if out of stock items could be replaced quicker. We will definitely be coming back to Grimsoft for more.

Best store to deal with ever. Shipping is prompt with tracking accurate. The quality of what they sell is always good, sometimes outstanding, and reasonable priced. The one time I was sent a damaged item they fixed it fast and fair. Their Viking Age clothing is as historically accurate as can be without huge cost. These folks are highly recommended. If you see something you like don't hesitate, buy it!

Being adopted at birth, in New Orléans, three years after WWII ended, my history, due to Napoleonic Laws in Louisiana, is sealed forever unavailable to access. All other states in USA use England-based laws, but Louisiana? Completely opposite...
Since I was very very young, I knew somehow that there was something profound not talked about, never discussed, and it plagued me for years.
My biological mother, in February / May 1948 (and 15 years old) was visiting family friends here; she was from Normandie, en France. My biological father (16 years old) lied about his age, and jumped off a soviet cargo ship at the Port, and vanished; he was from St Petersburg (then Leningrad) and tried to fresh-start a life in USA.
Impossible things occur in the Crescent City, and I am one of those impossible things. He was found, deported; she went into isolation (of course: it's the 1940s) and was pressured to give it up, and do the Adoption thing. She refused and refused.
She and He remained in touch. He was clumsy, and picked the wrong times to try emigrating (Cold War going up & down) but they remained optimistic through it all, never gave up. Ultimately, he got employed as a Chemistry professor at a university in Leningrad – she taught piano, in Normandie. They saw each other constantly, back and forth; never gave up the quest of retrieving what they were forced to give up – and ultimately, against all odds, their determination finally succeeded, and came full-circle when I was 19.
Obviously, all my missing weird puzzle-pieces / idiosyncracies made complete sense: earth-shaking to say the least.
Yes, a recent DNA test verified everything, finally. I know who I am, and my legacy. And, out of the blue, along came Grimfrost.
