Subject: Incorrect Refund Amount & No Response to Escalation — Order #317221142001026990 | Case #100025400031
Dear Trustpilot / Alibaba.com,
I am writing to formally complain about an unresolved refund issue regarding my order #317221142001026990 (Case #100025400031) placed on September 27, 2026.Issue Summary:
Total amount paid: USD 1,298.29 (SAR 4,962.31) via Tamara
Refund received: USD 1,002.87 only
Shortfall: Approximately USD 295 was not refunded
Case deadline: October 31, 2026Actions Taken:
I escalated the issue through Tamara (Request #170201302198226092704 / Claim #848498), demanding the correct refund of USD 1,298.29.
A follow-up reminder email was sent on October 22, 2026.
No response has been received from Alibaba.com or the seller to date.**My Request:**I demand that Alibaba.com immediately correct the refund amount to USD 1,298.29 and refund the remaining balance of approximately USD 295 before the case deadline of October 31, 2026.
The lack of response and incorrect refund amount represent a serious breach of buyer protection. I expect a resolution before the deadline.

The biggest online criminal ring—they lie to and defraud customers all over the world while protecting dishonest sellers. I bought 20 machines through you; I hope never again.

Poor product quality and disappointing after-sales resolution
We ordered 4,000 custom labels across four designs for my brand. Unfortunately, the batch had a visible white line along the bottom of the printed labels, which made them unsuitable for our premium products. We manually inspected the batch and documented the defect with photographs and videos.
Before production and shipment, we specifically requested careful quality control, including checking the labels on bottles to assess their finished appearance. The supplier later acknowledged that their printing machine could sometimes produce errors.
The defective order disrupted our business and forced us to source replacement labels urgently from another supplier. The subsequent refund process was equally disappointing. The return requirement became an issue after the refund process had begun, and our original case was closed without a refund being paid.
We understand that production errors can occur. What matters is how a supplier manages quality control, communicates requirements clearly and takes responsibility when an order fails to meet expectations. Based on our experience, these areas fell short. We would advise other buyers to obtain clear written quality-control and defect-resolution arrangements before placing a large order.
Alibaba.com and their heavily advertised "Trade Assurance Money-Back Protection" is an absolute, localized joke. Do not trust this platform to protect your funds. They operate on lazy, automated bot algorithms that actively enable fraudulent offshore suppliers to manipulate the system and steal thousands of consumer dollars.
I paid $2,004.28 CAD upfront for a vehicle through their secure checkout platform. The merchant explicitly confessed in writing inside our official chat logs that their factory was entirely out of stock and could not build or fulfill my order. Yet, instead of executing an immediate safety refund, Alibaba’s broken dispute interface allowed the seller to upload a custom-typed, fraudulent document containing a completely blank, un-scanned carrier barcode space to trick the automated platform countdown timers.
Despite providing irrefutable, plain-text screenshots of the merchant's out-of-stock admissions, changing shipping timelines, and a completely blocked buyer profile, Alibaba's lazy human arbitration team completely ignored the contract breach. They issued a "Preliminary Decision" of $0.00, telling me to "wait patiently" for a ghost container that has zero live, carrier-scanned international logistics tracking.
Their internal mediation division is a total circus that sides with scammers rather than enforcing their user protection rules. Thankfully, Canadian consumer laws override this broken website, and my financial institution (TD Canada Trust) is forcefully yanked the funds back via a formal fraud chargeback for Goods Not Received.
Alibaba is an unsafe, unaccountable Wild West of e-commerce. If you value your money, your security, and your sanity, stay far away from this platform. Absolutely pathetic
I am extremely disappointed with Alibaba.com. A scam seller tried to trick me into communicating and sharing personal details outside the secure checkout system. When I reported this and opened an appeal, Alibaba blocked my account instead of punishing the scammer!
Even worse, while my legitimate account is frozen, I checked from another profile and saw that the exact same scammer is still active and trying to scam other users. Alibaba’s support team only sends automated template emails and fails to act. Absolutely terrible customer protection. Avoid this platform!
ALIBABA supports SCAMERS and we all need to report to the police we lost 2000 Euro never place orders there is a SCAM. They won't help you they are in favor of the Chinese suppliers. Even on trade assurance orders is all the same they don't care. SCAM AVOID
My mistake was I didn’t check their Trust pilot review before buying and I blame myself for it .m. They are very dishonest and if anything happens to your parcel , neither them or EVRI in my case will account for it despite been their mistake and you will not be getting a refund . Worst service I have received from an e-commerce company.

Langbin Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd
Do not rely on Langbin Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd located at Qingshan Industrial Park, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, for custom packaging, and do not trust Alibaba Trade Assurance to protect your business.

Email: locky@chinalambin "dot"com
Phone: 18606510555
Address: Room 236, Building 9, No. 59, Shixiang Road, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, CN
Storefront: Langbin Alibaba Storefront
Key Representative: Victor Wang
Langbin Technology operates as an intermediary trading desk rather than a certified print manufacturer. We supplied press-ready vector files with hardcoded CMYK profiles for a repeat packaging order. Instead of maintaining prepress controls, their sub-contracted printer ran the job uncalibrated, changing our brand's cool cyan-blue into a bright yellow-green.
When challenged, the sales rep (Victor Wang) provided zero press-side proofing or spectrophotometer readings, offering only a 6-second mobile video filmed in a warehouse as "quality control." They refused to take responsibility for failing to transfer hardcoded CMYK specifications to their sub-contracted printer.
Equally disappointing is Alibaba's Trade Assurance process. During mediation, the support team threw out multiple different answers and excuses just to find a way out, ultimately admitting in writing that our daylight photos proved a visible colour defect under Article 56. Yet, they absurdly claimed the packaging could "still be used" completely ignoring the absolute necessity of accurate brand colours.
Furthermore, because shipping was itemized individually, they knew the exact loophole: they quickly refunded the packaging itself right away while refusing to refund the $162.00 express freight cost for shipping defective paper stock. This left the bank's dispute team with nothing to go off since the product was already technically refunded.
These suppliers and Alibaba know all the sneaky rabbit holes to exploit this system so they can avoid refunding your shipping, issue fast partial refunds to block chargebacks, and protect their fee-paying sellers who pay thousands of dollars in platform fees.
The entire platform is heavily biased toward shielding sellers from accountability for manufacturing failures rather than protecting buyers, sticking us with freight costs for unusable goods.
Avoid Alibaba and this supplier (Langbin Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd) if you require exact brand colour matching, professional prepress standards, or a fair dispute resolution process.
As seen on Trustpilot, Sitejabber, ResellerRatings, Reddit, and Alibaba's Community Forums.
They don't have trustworthy sellers, they send you the wrong part or nothing and when you complain, they take weeks on the communication until it's too late and they say it's been too long and they can't do anything and they just keep you money. And Alibaba.com has a review of their own and I tried twice and every time I click the submit button, it' just stays there rotating and never submits my review. clever? for them it is, because nobody knows there are some scammers there.
Never buy from this company it takes 2 months to come which is past the 30 day return wouldn't accept return so went through the bank fraud team they couldn't help £200 lost and the wrong product that was sent usless and you talk to ai
My first (and the last of course) experience with Alibaba.com. I paid in full, NOT received anything in return. Once over 60 days shipping, the order is marked as completed and Aliaba denied any further responsibility. Looks like this service in intended for Chinese customers only. On my request to the seller a downright mocking message is received.
Alibaba won't fully refund you if package delivery fails
Be very careful before you decide to sign up with this platform!
I have been a user for a number of years and I placed an order before Christmas and paid for it through Paypal and it was never delivered thanks to the wonderful Evri and their ongoing failures to successfully operate a delivery service. Anyway, when Evri eventually admitted they’d lost the package, and I requested refund, Alibaba only refunded part of the payment saying they wouldn’t pay any import taxes incurred relating to the purchase.
I have now tried repeatedly to cancel my Alibaba user account on their system and the pin required to do this is never sent to my email account. I have tried the online help service, and they just told me to try what I already had done numerous times, when I said this failed to provide a pin they then gave me an email address to write to and cancel my account, that was nearly a month ago and I’ve had no response and the account is still active.
They also constantly send out email and txt promotions with items at attractive prices but when you click on the item it takes you to a different product all together, what a waste of time.
This platform is not operating within any form legitimate business rules that we have or expect in the UK, and I’m just fortunate my purchase was a small one and not something very expensive, as I would have been left well out of pocket with nothing to show for it.
Save yourself the hassle and stay well clear of Alibaba!, from now on, I certainly will.
What a load of rubbish. Bought a phone which I had seen reviewed and ignored what the seller was advertising. The seller advertised the phone as having 1tb of memory and 16gb of ram. I knew this was wrong as I know the phone should only have 256gb of memory and 8gb ram. What I didn't expect was that they would clone a phone which was already a budget phone and send me a load of garbage. They sent a phone with only 16gb memory and 2gb ram. When I tried to send the item back they made it very difficult. I don't want their products but they wouldn't accept my return request. Stay well clear of this site. Sticking with AliExpress in the future. Never had a problem with items or return requests.
App now deleted. If only there was an option for 0 stars would be more suitable
I have used Alibaba for 5 years but in the last 18 months, there has been a switch in perspective by the Chinese as to you buy it, its your problem. The sellers and people who run it seem to be the same people. Thy can liaise outside of the platform and speak in Chinese should the goods not arrive or be defective. I wont be buying anything again from them after they refused to refund me for faulty goods. The seller didnt even put up an argument and they wanted me to take a picture of 1000 items all defective on a floor space. You are lyign to them until you prove otherwise is the way they look at it, no matter what. Do not buy anything from them as you are on your own - You have to get your money back through the bank
I ordered multiple sizes of two shirts for my boutique. They sent me junk then refused the money back garentee the brag about. I dont want this junk. I can't use it, hell its not even good enough for goodwill . Dont trust them to give you good service
I`ve been a Gold Supplier for 12 years. In recent years it has ceased to be a B2B site and Alibaba now coerces and bullies you into "compliance" for their retail sales. They are a terrible company. No more.
I paid USD 350 for a shipment with Zhimei Express International Freight Forwarding, fully agreed for 750 kg, door-to-door (DDP).
What went wrong:
• The agent transferred my cargo to another agent without my consent.
• I have lost all tracking of the goods.
• Multiple agents are now demanding additional payments (USD 1060) with no explanation or cost breakdown.
• My original payment of USD 350 has not been returned.
This behavior is misleading, extorting, and violates Alibaba’s Trade Assurance policies. I urge Alibaba to take immediate action and protect buyers.
