I travel a lot and use different travel sites for years. This travel site by far has been the best customer service experience I have had ever. Leander and a few other agents were so professional and helpful and always called me back with every confirmation. If they say They’re going to call back, They call back in a very short amount of time. It was the easiest agency I have worked with in years. I will for sure book with them again thank you Leander and other agents for making it comfortable and easy to work with you.

It is a scam. The chat message helper people initially pretend to help you find a better deal. Then after showing few deals, they say that we found out a much better deal. But, I cannot show it on the chat. Do you have an email address? Then they forward 3 deals to your email address. And when you click the link, you get diverted to their fake website and you are scammed.!!! The website they divert us to a different website. Luckily, I did not use their suggestions, and I booked on this same website, however, after noticing this dubious behavior, I cancelled the complete deal.

I book a flight for Iceland through Gurufare. At the time, they were the lowest priced flight while other sites were nearly double! Once I purchased the flights, I worked along side Korbin who helped me select the seats, briefed me on itinerary, and thoroughly answered all of my follow up questions. Booking through Gurufare means you cannot check in or deal with the airlines they use directly, which means I was not able to choose seats and was put in one of the last boarding groups each time. The fare ended up being the same as booking through an airline directly. I will not use Gurufare again. Frustrating experience!

I bought plane tickets and 20 hours later contacted GuruFare again. When the bot asked me if I wanted to find a lower fare, I asked for help changing the ticket. The bot connected me to Reed, and he helped me make significant changes to the ticket. Since I was within 24 hours of the purchase, there were no fees for the changes.

I bought a ticket on Gurufare and got a record locator. A month later representative shawn s at gurufare.com contacted me and demanded additional payment for seat assignment threatening me that otherwise my tickets ARE NOT CONFIRMED. This is a fraud because what did I pay for? I paid for the ticket and now I dont know if the airline honors what I bought on Gurufare or not.

UPDATE: I've used them twice - first experience was initially good - they got me a good flight at a good price - a little better than I could find on my own. However, after purchasing they kept harassing me with probably a dozen phone calls and even more emails trying to sell me their travel protection package and other upgrades. It was beyond annoying - I had to threaten reporting them to get it to stop. I had kind of forgotten about that - which is why I did try them again. The second was horrible and I will NEVER use them again. I kind of assumed that their agents are on commission - but did not expect them to straight-up lie to get a sale. Which is going to cost us a fortune now. Long story short we have a baby we are taking on this trip - and when we booked we did not have her passport yet - so we could not book her as an infant in lap without her passport. But I was assured that we could easily add her later once we had her passport. When we finally have her passport - I went to add her and they say sorry the only way we can add her is as a full fare adult ticket. Or we can contact the airline directly. And of course we are flying on multiple airlines so we will have to pay to add her to each leg rather than just to the overall trip. But it gets better - once we try to contact the airline - they say they can't yet because Gurufare has not uploaded our passport info yet - even though I had sent it to them 6 weeks prior... There are far too many other options - avoid this one at all costs! So since posting the review I got a tepid apology email from them. No assistance offered to help my situation - which is still not resolved. Just terribly poor customer service and no attempt to take responsibility for their mistakes.
