Everything was broken on a manufacturer’s pallet and of course the pallets I bidded on everything was broken or missing parts. Then the single items were missing parts.. I’ll never shop here again

Hideout for scammers
Hibid is just the platform for the auctions. They take no responsibility for the auctions themselves. Any questions you ask or problems you have, they tell you to ask the auction company and they never respond. From my experience on the site, I would not use them...ever
The Best Auction Platform!
Its always easy with HiBid! Ive been using them for over 6 years and there my goto auction platform. Never had any issues with either the bidding process or getting in contact with auctioneers during auctions.

I enjoy bidding on different auctions. I do appreciate the fact that if there is a problem the site holding the auctions is very helpful with any and all problems that come up. The announcements about upcoming auctions and opportunity to review items a couple days is helpful, and I like the opportunity to enter bids as it's live and winding down--gets pretty exciting/nailbiting!! What I would REALLY appreciate is a better idea of the items' sizes rather than a ruler placed at an angle next to them. That could make a real difference sometimes prompting me to bid on more.

Mobile update has made it harder to find what I am looking for. Also, CS is non existent. Had a previous issue with an auction - counterfeit goods- and could never get a response from HiBid. Had to work with my bank to get my money back.

I have only been purchasing through HiBid for about two months, and during that short time, I received FOUR items that were obviously counterfeit. Two of the auction companies refunded me, but the third refused. I do not mind paying for an item when I receive what was advertised. However, I do have a serious problem with paying for a counterfeit item when the listing led me to believe I was purchasing a genuine product. I have also had poor experiences with shipping. When an auction company requires the use of a separate shipping service and my item has not arrived, some auctioneers have been rude or unhelpful when I contacted them to request tracking information. HiBid needs much stronger restrictions and enforcement against counterfeit items being listed and sold. Auctioneers should be required to verify branded merchandise, accurately disclose authenticity concerns, and be held accountable when counterfeit goods are sold. Because HiBid does not appear to provide meaningful consumer protection in situations involving counterfeit merchandise, shipping problems, or uncooperative auction companies, I will no longer shop with any sellers on HiBid. Overall, I believe HiBid needs stronger buyer protections, clearer shipping information, stricter counterfeit-item policies, and better accountability for auction companies and shipping providers.

Great online estate sale platform
St. Louis Estate Sales is practically the only seller I use on HiBid as they have no buyers premium and the majority of items I buy are for a nonprofit. Their service and professionalism is great - highly recommended. The HiBid platform itself is easy to use and user friendly👍👍
Additional item information needed
Won a couple of lots at a reasonable price. However, it would be helpful if the auctioneer would indicate if the model train locomotives actually operate or if they are being sold as "parts &repair."
I will not purchase again from Summit Auction Galleries
It is Summit Auction Galleries out of Houston Texas. Everything went well until shipping and receiving my product. I paid promptly due to a phone call stating their system was not working so I paid on July 9! As of August 1, I still do not have my items and after 3 attempts to contact them I get a text back stating they will deal with it on Monday. All I want is a tracking number so I can find my items that I paid for! Rude and not helpful at all. I live in Arizona so even if it took 10 days to process I should have my items within 20 days. This is the second issue with this auction company.

The auction houses continually overcharge on taxes for my province. They all say it is due to Hibids preset program.
This review is for Chill Mart in Scarborough, Ontario
This review is for Chill Mart 2065 Midland Ave, Unit 3 Scarborough (Toronto), ON M1P 4P8 This auction place uses different descriptions for the available items to describe if it has been used, new, etc. For example: New, Used, BN (for brand new). I had great experiences with the items I successfully bid on in the past, however for weeks now the BN (brand new) items are used, and absolute garbage. The item in the package is not what the photos shows, etc. I have recommended this auction in the past however I now tell people to stay away, which is also what I am doing. There are other places that don't blatantly lie about the condition of the item. For the record, I am fine with getting used items, but I want to know that in advance so I bid accordingly and take my chances with that item if I choose to get it.
