Shipping charges are too high. Appears to benefit the seller. Even when knowingly selling junk. I thought no one, licensed, was allowed to do that..,.

Bidding and viewing items is great

Bidding and viewing items is great. Its after you've won an item and shipping that could be improved. Whether its links that get sent out by email or through hibid immediately after an auction ends. For the most part though im not gonna lie when that ticker is counting down the last seconds my nerves get rattled. I may or may not have done some happy dances after winning an item! All in all thanks for a great site!

I like how many different auctions I can bid on. I bid and win almost every weekend. I've only had one bad auction, and I just won't bid on their site anymore, I just Unsurscribed.

I bid on burlington liquidation auction…

I bid on burlington liquidation auction on deals, but i didn’t receive one of my item. I get back to them but they didn’t even reply. I am disappointed.

I've never had any issues using HiBid. I like being able to let the computer do the bidding for me. I love the convenience of it.

I purchased 3 items and they were all broken. Not inspected. Would bid low next time based on events

I enjoyed the auction and went to pay and everything went south. I asked Hi-bid if Antlers was a part of Hi-Bid and no one answered. I set up a payment situation with them and when the auction was over they want me to now pay to Antler's which confused me and then I thought it was a scam so I backed off.

I know the auctioneers can see what you bid. There are certain auctionhouses that have a certain userids that run up the high bidder to just under his max bid. I prefer the bid wrangler platform. More secure for the bidders. Auctioneers are extremely greedy with 20 to 30% buyers premium/penalty.

Shill bidding

Auction was listed as online only, but “floor bidder” came in on virtually every item just before close and just outbid pre-bid by 1 bid increment. Looks like the auction service was running up bids

Sellers, in general, need to provide better photos, better descriptions and measurements. Disappointingly sometimes photos don’t actually represent the item or condition.

I really kinda hate the slow refresh…

I really kinda hate the slow refresh and the whole going to a different tab to live bid, makes it virtually impossible to watch multiple items when they are closing simultaneously. Would much prefer to be able to stay on my watch page and track everything I’m interested in at once.

Chaotic live bidding

When bidding goes live, things get chaotic in the last 5 minutes of each item. When 5 minutes remain and someone places an additional bid, more time is added to the clock. This is good because it prevents sniping, but the system doesn't re-order the items. Therefore, some items you are watching and bidding on never appear in the top area of the screen. So you're trying to watch items at the top of the screen and scroll down so you don't miss items towards the bottom. It is overwhelming and chaotic. It causes you to miss things you really want and is a frustrating, stressful situation.

Beats having to stand for hours while bidding on site. Quality pictures are very helpful as are the descriptions. Winning bids are very well managed as in payment and pickup. Just need to stay close to an internet connection when nearing the end of the bidding.

My first time doing an online bid, it was pretty smooth. I did notice on a couple items that I saw I was outbid on I would bid, then right away it said out bid again. I was a little confused as to how that happened right away.
