My son told me about the benefits he was having wearing 'barefoot' shoes. However his were the ugliest shoe I have seen. I did some research and decided to give Hobibear a try. Best decision I could have made. Super comfortable and light, without being flimsy. They have; improved my foot health, straightened my gait and stopped aching calf muscles during long walks or runs. My overall balance has improved and I no longer get pain in a previously injured toe. BUT the real bonus for me is that THEY LOOK GREAT. After more than a month walking long distances on holiday in different terrain, they still look brand new. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have only had my new pair for a few weeks and already the straps have stretched. I have to clench my toes to keep them on. Not happy.
Good fit and great value
Got my shoes and they look great. I have bunions and these shoes are perfect. I tried a pair and then I bought another 2. The zero drop does take a bit of getting used to but no major dramas.
My son has super wide feet
My son has super wide feet. What to do? These shoes are just what we needed. They fit his toe box without squeezing them, the sole and lack of heel meets the "mommy standard". He's a pronator due to clubbed feet at birth and finding shoes that would fit him and meet my "healthy footwear" standards has been a real challenge. To hear him say, "these feel better than my Converse" made me so happy. Just a note, I'd gotten a size 8 for me even though I'm a 7.5 - please please can we have 1/2 sizes? I'd love to wear them too!

Delivery was quick considering they came from overseas (around a week). The shoes are very comfortable and well made and are excellent value compared to other vegan barefoot shoes I've purchased previously. Would definitely recommend.
Perfect for school
We bought the black leather shoes for my daughter. Her initial reaction was that they are the most comfortable shoes she has ever worn, that her feet don’t slip around in them, and that they meet the curve of her feet. When she put on her regular running shoes yesterday she said the only problem is that now her hobibears have made all other shoes feel too squishy. We’re in Australia and shipping was fast.
