IMT has been a bright spot during a challenging career transition. This app helps me work jobs around my schedule. I don’t get messages stating can you go to this place asap. I can schedule my jobs. I know I will be paid with in the hour after I clock out. The people that I work with aren’t exhausted from working too much. They are extremely productive because they aren’t burnt out. This choice that is given to the insta work community to choose what day we can work is so healthy for a plethora of reasons. With that said I wish more companies understood this concept and implemented this healthy environment that the work provides
More rewards if there is going to be a reward system…
I haven’t seen much rewards for going gold, all else ok, if I sign up for shifts I would like to see higher paying shifts that are at the same time, that way it’s more rewarding and rewards companies that pay better. Otherwise ok.
The app itself is flawless. East to navigate and find roles quickly. Checking in and out everything works well. Being paid on time and correct pay is 4 stars for me. I have enjoyed the roles I have signed up for and the job descriptions are pretty accurate.
Feedback on initial interview call I did not realize it was an AI interview and it threw me for a loop. I blanked on how to make drinks and it really has held back roles that I am very qualified to handle. Six months to reapply to a position I have been doing for the past several years seems pretty strict. Other than that I think the whole platform is better than expected. Making money quicker with Insta work than other competitors platforms.
I wanna give this a 5 stars but i won't. This app was my only way of working for this past year and it went well up until december 2025 i took a coach call and failed it okay cool. i know i didnt deserve to lose access to all positions even positions i didnt apply for. The lady mustve took offense to my response tone and stuff bc it was a lady on the other end of the phone (always has at one point i was taking a coach call bsvk to back passing them). Long story short its now june and they removed the 6 month reapply policy.. i feel like the lady on the coach call ruined my account discriminating i basically gave vague but decent background history such as 2 years here and there for all my answers and they took my positions for even things i didnt apply for... chat was so helpful bacj in june and september to me but you see they removed the 6 month realpply for positions for me so how is that not unfair. I waited 6 months the app isnt doing anything to help me reaccess the other positions im stuck with the 8 basic
My good experience at INSTAWORK is how they make us feel welcome and I like working at INSTAWORK because all the bosses respect all the people who work there. Since I have been working for INSTAWORK, I feel comfortable, thank you for the way you treat your employees.
Rating was decreased from gold to bronze with no explanation. Could not talk to a live person to investigate. Instawork decreased my pay from the amount I booked the shift, but had the expectation I work the shift. Speaking to live person is impossible. The AI agent would not provide a phone number.
1. I love the flexibility that comes from the ability to choose the shifts I can take on, without the need to ask permission, or provide an explanation if a life situation arises that I determine takes priority over the posted work schedule.
In my life, outside of work, I actively support a dear friend who has been
experiencing a mental health crisis.
Instawork's preemptive flexibility allows me to pick up shifts at the last minute and that is huge when it comes to supporting a friend or loved one who's life situation is punctuated by inflexibility.
In other words, I can get work when I know I can show up, while never needing to ask for a day off because a very real, unplanned emergency arises.

I love the concept. I'd have given Instawork 4 stars had the location serviced component not glitched out and delivered a metaphorical headache.

It was a good experience but Instawork allowed a a site to short my pay and other pay and continue to allow Jitsu to post shifts when more than one person has complained about them. It makes me not want to take shifts anymore
I love the places I am booked to work, but sometimes in the app they don't always have locations for some sites. Sometimes you can't get a clock in code from establishment, other than that the experience has been good.
They show me jobs in another state even though I set it at a certain mile radius.. then the jobs that are close by if it’s posted at 12pm u sign up for it by 12pm within seconds they say is full and u can join a waiting list.. it’s a bit frustrating
