Ippo Japan Watch (to be further called simply Ippo) has very good inventory control as the watch I'd ordered went from in stock to out of stock once I purchased. I was impressed as Ippo actually had the Seiko SBTM329 in stock at a good price when other competitors have been out of stock for months. Additionally, Ippo also managed to save me on the delivery side. Ippo was able to work with the courrier to ensure direct delivery was possible and I didn't need to go to a service center 70+ miles away.

The downside: their shipping is very slow and sometimes they forget to answer messages for days at a time. The upside: they have the best prices in Japan and they will absolutely deliver what you ordered, and your item will be in perfect condition. So long as you're not in a hurry and you aren't a nervous buyer who needs constant reassurance, you will be pleased with the end result. Now that I've figured out Ippo's service style and I know what to expect, I will continue to do business with them. In fact, I'm about to place my fourth order right now.

I previously ordered watches from IPPO Japan Watch and had a good experience. I received my order successfully, and that positive experience gave me the confidence to place another order with them. Unfortunately, my experience with my second order has been completely different. I placed and paid for my new order on 15 July 2026. It has now been 14 days, and I have received no shipping confirmation or tracking information. What concerns me more than the delay itself is the complete lack of communication. I have tried contacting IPPO through email, WhatsApp and social media, but have not received any positive response or explanation regarding the status of my order. I understand that delays can happen, particularly with international orders, and I am willing to wait if there is a genuine reason. However, after payment has been received, customers should at least be informed about the status of their order. As a returning customer who had a positive first experience, this is particularly disappointing. I still want to receive the watches rather than cancel the order, and I hope IPPO responds and resolves the matter promptly. I will update this review if IPPO contacts me and the order is successfully dispatched.
