I find this group to be very…knowledgeable
I find this group to be very compassionate, attentive to my concerns and very knowledgeable. With so much hassle trying to see a doctor locally with no appointments for months, the ease of this group is absolutely wonderful. The Zoom calls are a delight as well. Sit in comfort of your own environment. They are covered under most insurance companies. And they deal with women and menopausal issues. I highly recommend using them. I'm glad I did
Midi has provided exceptional care during such a vulnerable time in my health journey. I leave each visit with an actionable plan, prescriptions that actually help, and excellent communication if I need support between visits. Midi clinicians are empathetic, they actually listen, which is an uphill battle with regular providers. I am so eternally grateful for everyone's support at Midi, it has changed my life for the better!

You owe it to yourself to try Midi!
I joined Midi health because like so many women of my demographic I felt ignored by the medical establishment. At Modo health I have interacted with clinicians who not only understand the challenges the peri-, post- and menopausal women face, but they taken your concerns seriously. You owe it to yourself to try Midi. From booking to visits the process is easy. I highly recommend Midi!!

Absolutely love my clinician very…
Absolutely love my clinician very thorough. She is very knowledgeable and thorough. I like that she takes the time to discuss everything and doesn’t make me feel rushed. She is very caring and compassionate about her job. Highly recommend!
I received a clear path to feeling better. I felt heard and understood by my care provider. I was told what to expect going forward and we had a great conversation. Don’t put it off if you are on the fence, you won’t regret it.
I felt like I was having a conversation with my girlfriend and not a healthcare professional. She cared and listened to me and my concerns. She talked with me to make plan that will work me with Midi Health.

Overall positive! Highly recommend!
I had a great experience with my first Midi visit! My NP was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I felt heard and cared for. I'm also blown away by the efficiency of the whole process. When I initially looked into Midi, I was able to get an appointment THE NEXT DAY. And my medication shipped so quickly as well. Just an overall really positive experience. Would recommend to all women!

I'm honestly growing to hate Midi
I'm honestly growing to hate Midi. My prescriptions constantly get cancelled by medical assistants, my messages don't get to my provider, I can't change my medication list, and now to top it off appointments are only 15 minutes for cash pay patients!!!!!!
The ONLY reason I haven't left is because my clinician is amazing. Midi started off so great but is progressively going down hill as profits get put over patients and the administration deteriorates

Hi MoD 3, we’re sorry to hear this! We’ve requested some information from you so that we can look into your experience. Thank you!
A few years ago I thought I was losing my mind and something was really wrong with me, my primary care/OBGYN (who is a fantastic doc) did not know what to try next. I told her I had heard about Midi via several podcasts I listened to, and she agreed yes, please go talk to someone who had the proper education and updated information, she knows she was educated during the WHI scare and lacks in this area. The process to get an appointment with Midi was QUICK. Within a few days I had met with a clinician, felt completely heard and validated, and had a plan to help me feel more like myself again. I prefer a less aggressive approach when making changes with my body and my clinician was respectful of that. She provided me with good education resources that I can trust to continue to learn. She continues to let me lead the way with my journey and the positive changes I see and feel give me confidence we're on the right track. I feel so much better today than I did a year ago, and I tell every woman I know about Midi.
I wouldn't say that Midi is a bad platform. They listen. They do the basic job. For me, they are not what was advertised. My health insurance needed pre-authorization, the department did not understand what was needed for submission. They told me twice that I did not have prescriptions on my plan, and asked me for my card, I sent both times, where it clearly stated that I have prescriptions and the ID #s they kept asking for. I had to call my health insurance to understand the reason behind the denial. (It was because how they completed the request). I spent an hour, maybe more with the health insurance going over what was needed and some options. Now the customer service team is has a wonderful personality and seems to be helpful within their means. However, the point of using this platform was to have less headache. I spoke with the nurse today and she is asking me more than informing me. I need assistance with my nutrition, hormones, etc but I have to get the plan from my health insurance to find out what they allow. Im not saying I cannot or wouldn't do it but I worked in the medical industry at one phase of my life and still have family that do. I'd never make a patient do that unless necessary, and what they are asking isn't necessary. I need assistance, I have a few complications, and I live a busy and stressful life. I came to Midi because I needed help not to add work on my plate. Overall assessment Limited but Amazing Customer Service; Good Health Care knowledge; Simple Backend knowledge

Hi LT banfield, we’re sorry to hear this! We’ve requested some information from you so that we can look into your experience. Thank you!
MIDI is clearly all about quantity, not quality. They employ thousands of "doctors" who see countless patients daily in 15-minute virtual increments. They claim to be known for their "fast, easy contact with doctors who treat with empathy." My experience was the opposite in every way.
Alisa Frierson had not read my file prior to our first appointment and therefore had no idea I was a new patient. She expressed zero remorse, but instead, shared that she "sees upwards of 30 patients daily, including taking on patients from other docs." She led me to believe she would be available as soon as my labs were uploaded. She was out for a week and a half.
She was 10 minutes late to my 15-minute appointment today. Again, no apology or accountability, just the same canned greeting, "How is your treatment plan going?" To which I reminded her, again, that I am not on a treatment plan yet because she needed to read my labs. During this conversation, she was rude, argumentative, and completely lacking in empathy. She refused to give me my full 15-minute appointment time because she "had another patient waiting." When I told her I wanted to request a different doctor, she said, "Well, your labs came back normal. Are you going to start a new medication or not? If there's nothing else I can help you with today, I need to get to my next patient."
Absolutely one of the worst doctor exchanges I've experienced ever.

Hi Heather, we're sorry to hear this! We see that you are in contact with our support team. We'll continue to look into this via that conversation.
Any woman in perimenopause or menopause knows that finding a provider who cares about and/or specializes in this topic is laughable. Clinicians either are dismissive, have no experience/expertise and say go elsewhere, or are so booked out you can't see them for months, if they even accept new patients. Fed up, I looked online and saw top reviews for Midi. Turns out, my company offers and promotes our access to Midi through our insurance. I was able to book an appointment and be seen less than 24 hours after visiting the Midi website with someone who believed me, listened to me, validated my experiences, and had a path forward. I was able to start a treatment plan with a prescription that very night! 1000/10 Midi is the way to go for your peri and menopause needs!

Had a great experience with Midi Health!!
I was able to get a telehealth appointment the next day and prompted to fill out a health questionnaire online. I met with Courtney the next day and she was outstanding! She totally understood my situation, she was very attentive and caring. She gave me options and expectations. The RX was quickly submitted to the pharmacy. However, my insurance required a prior authorization and we all know those can take time. Fortunately, Courtney was on it. She quickly responded to the first and subsequent inquiries and my prescription was approved very quickly! I was so impressed. I highly recommend MIDI Health.

Overcharged and Underserviced
Initial 30 minute consult was mostly confirming what I had filled out on-line. In last minutes it was wrapped up in asking me to schedule the 15 minute follow-up. Recommendations/protocol not discussed, followed later. I’m okay with all the above, what followed was absurd.
250 for 30 minutes
125 for 15 minutes
I’m okay to pay this amount out of pocket if the website actually functioned. I spent hours to and fro getting bouncing to various on-line health portals. One moment I have an account, the next I didn’t, bizarre and frustrating. Phoning was of no help — AI greeter called me by name eager to assist. When it could not accept my agent request, I was cut off. Rinse and Repeat.
My expectation at this price point where MIDI nursing staff recommends MIDI products the company would be much more accountable and customer focused.

Wow! Great all around
The doctor I saw was pleasant and kind, but also knowledgeable and helpful. She listened to my concerns and set up a plan for me. For the first time, I felt like I didn't need to plead my case with my doctor to get the menopause help I needed. And I didn't need to teach my doctor about menopause. This was a really positive experience.
I'm so happy I found MIDI! It is the first time in 12 years I felt heard by anyone in the medical field about issues I've experienced through menopause. I went through what has been labeled "premature ovarian malfunction" at age 36-38 and by 40 I was diagnosed as post menopausal. It took me four years to get a doctor to order hormone testing when I asked repeatedly feeling I must be going through menopause. Each doctor prior to that told me it was impossible and I was too young. The reality is 5% of women begin in their late 30s. That is 1 out of 20 women. How many of you know more than 20 women????
I know we were trained not to discuss menopause like it is something to be embarrassed about - despite the fact that 100% of women go through it!!!!
My doctor at MIDI explained that since I went through premature ovarian malfunction, my body "crashed" into menopause at an alarmingly fast rate. Which is why my symptoms were much more severe than most women.
It began with horrific mood swings. I felt hopeless, cried daily, and alienated friends and family at this time.
Then came the night sweats and hot flashes that continued for YEARS.
Of course my period was getting lighter and shorter through all of this.
When I told my doctors at the time they told me to "be grateful" my periods weren't as heavy and long as they had been prior and still dismissed the possibility it was menopause.
At age 39 my periods lasted less than a day and were extremely light. I told my ObGyn I was 99% sure it was menopause. I was still dismissed and told I was "way too young." It wasn't until a year later at my yearly when I informed her that my periods had completely ended that the hormone testing was finally ordered while being told I was probably starting perimenopause. That doctor looked at me with shock when the results came back and said "Actually, your levels came back as POST-menopausal".
I asked if I should start hormone therapy. They told me no... That I was too young and it would raise my risk of cancer. At age 44/45 the weight gain started. The heavy arthritis pain weighed in. The daily back and hip pain started. By age 47 I had degenerative disc disease including a herniated disc which meant I needed spinal fusion surgery to prevent paralysis.
After my spinal fusion, my hip pain increased. About a year ago this time I was barely able to walk, climb stairs, bend over. I even had to use a walker if I had to walk more than a few minutes.. I felt like I had aged 20 years in less than 5. All the cartilage in my left hip was gone and I underwent another surgery for a total hip replacement. And the weight kept adding. Despite an all protein diet, drinking lots of water and cutting all sugar, fried foods and soda out of my diet. Still doctors told me to just "eat better" to lose the weight.
I found MIDI in March of this year after going to my ObGyn in Buffalo asking for HRT after researching for years and determining all of my problems stemmed from lack of hormones. She told me I waited too long and couldn't go on them for it would cause cancer. Despite me explaining I had researched them, knew the risks and still wanted to try them.
Midi validated everything I believed. They told me had I started ten years ago I probably wouldn't have needed the spinal fusion nor the hip replacement. They also validated that previous research about HRT causing cancer is false.
I finally am taking the HRTs my body has needed and I have asked for... For 10+ years!!!!
All of you who are experiencing menopause symptoms I strongly recommend them. They have virtual visits, order labs, bone density scans, etc and call in prescriptions for you. And they specialize in MENOPAUSE.
I hope this helps some of you because God knows I needed help like this for over a decade and couldn't get it.

I’m back to myself!!
After being told by 2 doctors, one a gyno, that these changes in my body and my not feeling myself that it was all in my head, I started to research. Midi kept coming up. So I booked an appt. So easy. So fast. I was seen and put on HRT. The first night of being on it, I slept all night! No night sweats! The phantom cigarette smell that would burn and make me cry was gone in a few days. What a difference. I was finally heard. I felt validated and realized it wasn’t all in my head. I love the ease of appts and if I need to ask a quick question , I can email. I’ve had the same provider and she’s amazing. Appts get right to the point. Tweaks are made as needed. It’s been a year and I am back to myself. I’m so thankful for MIDI!

Midi Health has done way more for me…
Midi Health has done way more for me than the Virginia Women's Center ever did. Rachel Freeman is super caring, kind, and she really listens.
