Check The Dates When making reservations, the dates default to weeks ahead of time. When I made reservations for a few days ahead, the payment didn't go through. I tried again, No luck. I succeeded a third time but the dates got changed. I made reservations on a date I did not need. Kayak was unhelpful and sent me to Priceline which was equally unhelpful. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Kayak forwarded me to get reservations done at another site, after paying, the website informed the price is gone up and if i can authorize an increase of $600., i declined, one day later, i did the other reservation, again a good price, go through the entire booking process and SAME STUFF, two hours later, they came back asking for more money as the promotion by airlines is now changes, it is a damn scam and i am not happy
