Kikoff you can trust, Kikoff is a must in changing your future!
To Kikoff is a must have!! One of the best investments i have ever made to rebuild my credit history. I'll share this particular info about myself because I believe in honesty a d transparency. I recently was released from federal prison after 10 years of incarceration from a very bad choice i made, with that said I had no credit history, I was a ghost on paper! I had no credit score, 0! Straight to the point after joining Kikoff and only after 4 to 5 months I went from having NO score to now I have a 703!! I had nothing and now thanks to Kikoff I was able to establish a excellent credit history in this short time. I have been able to obtain 3 credit cards, a new vehicle, and just recently was able to lease a beautiful Townhouse! I mean this with all my heart when I tell you that Kikoff made all this happen for me!!!! They provided all the tools and guidance to give me the best possible start at a blessed second chance to restart my life!!! I'm telling you I highly recommend getting Kikoff if you're trying to rebuild your future or e even if you need help getting rid of old debt on your credit report, they will take care of all the leg work, all you have to do is set back and watch the great results!!! ⚠️ My Experience with Kickoff – Extremely Disappointing
I signed up with Kickoff because, as someone new to the United States, I wanted to start building my credit responsibly. I paid for my first month and expected the service I signed up for.
Instead, I received an email saying, "We're sorry to see you go," informing me that my account had been closed.
The problem is that I never requested to close my account.
I immediately called customer support. The representative was polite, professional, and genuinely tried to help. They confirmed that my account had indeed been closed, attempted to reopen it, and even escalated the case to another team. Unfortunately, the final answer was that they still couldn't explain why my account had been closed and they couldn't reopen it.
So, after paying for the service, this is where I was left:
- My account was closed without my authorization.
- No one could tell me why it happened.
- No one could restore my account.
- No meaningful solution was offered.
- No refund was offered for the month I had already paid.
I don't blame the customer service representative—they did what they could. I blame the company and its processes.
A company that advertises itself as helping people build credit should have systems that protect customers, not close their accounts without explanation and then respond with, "We don't know what happened."
That is unacceptable. It shows a serious lack of accountability and professionalism.
I trusted Kickoff with an important step in my financial journey, and they completely failed me. I hope this review encourages the company to improve its internal processes and, more importantly, warns other consumers about what can happen.
⭐ 1 star. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Scam, I subscribed for 5 dollars for months on end only to be told there's an issue with my credit score. Then radio silence for months again . They advertised I would get all my money back in the end when I opened the account but I guess that doesn't apply to my account type, shady practice.

A Subscription That CAN and WILL Damage Your Credit
For a company that markets itself as helping people build or improve their credit, my experience has been the exact opposite. Rather than feeling supported, I felt like my credit was being held at a metaphorical knife point. Instead of simply ending the subscription when payments stopped, the account continued in a way that resulted in negative credit reporting.
What makes this even more troubling is that I never actually received any money or used any credit from this company. I paid a monthly subscription fee for a service that was marketed as helping build my credit(showing a nonexistent line of credit to give myself smaller utilization percentage, and a higher credit line without ever having borrowed a dollar), yet when I stopped paying the subscription, they reported late payments that damaged my credit. Even though I never borrowed a single dollar from them In my experience, reporting missed payments on an account that never provided me with spendable funds is morally questionable and completely contrary to what most consumers would expect from a subscription service.
A subscription should end when payment stops. That’s how consumers reasonably expect subscriptions to work. In my experience, this company operates more like a line of credit while presenting itself as a subscription, and that distinction is not made clear at all.
The cancellation process was difficult to locate, and by the time I realized what had happened, the account had already affected my credit. For a company whose mission is supposedly to help consumers build credit, that feels deeply contradictory.
I would strongly advise consumers to stay away from this predatory service. There are far better subscription services available that don’t continue damaging your credit after you’ve decided to cancel. Based on my experience, I would NEVER recommend this company, EVER to ANYONE. They’re extremely predatory, dishonest, deceptive and misleading.
I plan on reporting to the FTC and I suggest anyone else that has had an experience like mine does the same. A company like this should not be allowed to exist. and if you haven’t dealt with this company yet, DON’T!!

Kikoff has been awesome!!! They have sent off dispute letters, and I was actually able to remove two accounts off my credit report, and my credit score has gone up. I recommend kickoff to anyone that is trying to clean their credit up and raise their credit score.

The worst credit building service I…
The worst credit building service I have ever used, hand down. I paid $420 into my credit builder loan, but after loosing my job because of a disability, I wasn’t able to keep paying for this. I requested that they stop charging me and just finish my loan early and pay me what I paid into it. I got silence back, and over the next 6 months I received many many attempted charges from them, but no matter how times or different ways I contacted them, they literally never said anything and kept trying to charge me. Now they have send me to collections, claiming that they wrote off a $420 debt and that my account was $215 overdue, which is mind boggling to try and follow the train of thought for them to justify not only stealing the money I paid into my credit builder loan when i requested it, but to take me to collections claiming the amount I paid is how much I owe them plus $215. I just cannot understand, where do they even come up with me owing them $420, that happens to be the exact amount I paid into the credit builder loan and by their own omission I owe them $215 in late fees so where is the $420 that I owe them coming from? It’s absolutely not the remaining balance on the credit builder loan because it’s not even close and it’s not late fees or amounts that I didn’t pay them because they already said that that was the $215 so where is the $420 coming from and why is the exact same amount that I paid into it? I basically paid them almost $500 for them to take my credit score and become a blight on my score.
