Koinly is such a good program. U can add your wallets and check out your tax and even know which package to buy. It was a breeze and soo easy to use. Will buy again next yr. Bonus. You can pay in crypto. 😉

Been using this platform for years

Been using this platform for years. It is a great platform when you have simple transactions. When things get complicated you have to rely on their customer support. Thats when things begin to get dicey. Their AI is ok for helping but if it doesn't help you then you have to wait for customer service staff. I have been dealing with an issue now for about a week. My issue hasn't been resolved with speaking to 3 customer service staff. I have asked to speak to a manager and now this is my second day waiting for another response. If I were just starting out, I would look around for other platforms to tell you the truth.

I have been using Koinly since 2017 - Tracks Every Transaction

I have been using Koinly since 2017 to keep track of my cryptocurrency portfolio and to produce my tax reports. I have found Koinly to be easy to use flexible and feature rich. Once you set up the API connection between Koinly and your wallet or exchange it is a "set & forget" system as it automatically keeps track of all of your transactions. I have used Koinly again for this tax year in Australia and intend to continue.

Just works, consistency is the game.

I’ve tried a few different crypto calculators but koinly has been pretty reliable for at least 3 years. Pricing is reasonable and it all seems accurate.

Dissapointing

Hello. I'm very disappointed with Koinly. When I entered my exchange details, the price displayed seemed expensive, even though you gave me a small discount. The platform was showing countless errors despite my APIs being correctly configured, as it was losing transactions. Then I uploaded the CSV files, which was another nightmare because it was misreading the BitGet files and not recognizing the formats properly. I had to delete columns that were preventing the Koinly platform from producing accurate results. I did this using Gemini's AI, and it worked fine. But apparently, after uploading the CSV files, more transactions appeared, and now Koinly is telling me I have to pay an additional €100 to get the tax report. I feel ripped off and scammed. If you had told me from the beginning that the platform would have so many errors and require so much work on my own, and if you had also quoted me the correct price (not a price designed to lure me in), I would have looked for another platform.

I really appreciate the concept behind Koinly, and it has definitely helped me navigate my crypto tax math, I initially ran into an issue where my report generated for 2026 instead of the requested 2025. However, a staff member reached out and helped us immediately. They quickly resolved the issue and made sure we were given the proper tax report. Great customer support!

Outstanding software and world-class customer support!

I initially had a very frustrating situation regarding my crypto taxes, but I quickly realized that Koinly was not the problem at all, in fact, their platform is phenomenal. Koinly accurately and precisely calculated all my crypto transactions. The real issue was completely external: my local tax assistant at the tax office (CAAF) was unfortunately incompetent. She simply did not know how to take Koinly's perfectly structured data and input it into the correct lines of my Italian tax return forms, and she refused to accept the report. In a moment of frustration, I reached out to Koinly's support team, complained about the report not being accepted by my accountant, and asked for a refund, even unfairly threatening a negative review. This is where Koinly truly shined. Their customer support agent, Carl, handled my case with incredible professionalism and kindness. Even though Koinly's data was 100% correct and the fault rested entirely with my tax advisor, Carl was completely understanding and processed my refund without hesitation. I am leaving this 5-star review because a company that provides such highly accurate tax software and supports its users with such exceptional, empathetic customer service deserves the highest praise. Thank you, Carl, and thank you, Koinly. Highly recommended!
