I couldnt do my taxes without them. Took some work to get the hang of and clean up at first - I had many years over several exchanges to upload and I learned the hard way that some exchanges upload far more accurately than others. Thankfully guidance is out there and once thats done then its done and youre good to go for future years with minimal corrections from there onwards.

Works well enough for small amounts of transactions, but can get a bit messy when the amount of platforms and transactions increase in my experience. Something always seem to not sync or track properly, but what can you do.

Been using Koinly for crypto tax documents last few years. While I've had some issues syncing some wallets and missing data, there are many ways to fix this. If you have more than 1000 transactions, it takes a lot of time but 100 or less transactions is easy. Cons - the price to download tax report - if you have less than 50 transactions, you need to pay for 100.

I’ve paid for Koinly for several years and used it across many exchanges, wallets, and hundreds of transactions. In my experience, Koinly works reasonably well if your crypto activity is simple — a couple of exchanges, straightforward trades, nothing unusual.But once things get more complex, the platform becomes more hassle than help. Transaction trails often break, some wallets or exchanges aren’t supported, and you end up having to manually track down files, convert them, and sometimes convert them again just to make them readable for Koinly (if your lucky). You can sometimes spend a massive amount of time trying to rectify transactions or they will be tagged at 0 cost and you will pay more tax than you shoud. The built‑in AI tends to loop in circles, and getting support from a real person can take up to two days. Not all of this is Koinly’s fault — the crypto space is messy — but that’s exactly why the integrations need to be better. Right now, too many platforms don’t sync properly, and the gaps fall back on the user to sort out. My advice? Keep it simple and just do it yourself if you can. If your crypto history spans multiple exchanges or wallets, Koinly struggles, and you’ll spend more time fixing its mistakes than the service is worth.

The support team at Koinly is outstanding and very responsive to issues that I have encountered during my tenure as a client. Konstantin assisted me on a recent issue with a manual import that I had completed. He responded promptly and showed where my error had occured with detailed information on how to resolve the error. He has fantastic technical knowledge and explained where to correct if this error occured again in the future. Even a non technical person like me gained value in his explanation. Koinly has a fantastic support team and I would recommend this company to anyone needing this type of service. I had a few issues that I needed help with. I had a prompt reply by email, resolving all the problems. The advisor was super helpful. Also, I had to upgrade my package as I'd gone over the transaction limit. But as I'd only gone over by a few transactions, my upgrade fee was refunded. After sales service like this is rare these days. I can 100% recommend Koinly from my experiences.

I had an issue with how trades reported incorrect values. Granted, this should never have happened in the first place or been an issue that needed addressing through the back end software. However, support we're amazing. It took a little while to get the ball rolling but once support were on the case, they saw it through to the end and resolved the issue for me. Support are extremely helpful, from beginning to the end. Restored faith in the Koinly software and extremely happy with the outcome. All balances, profit and loss add up as expected. Will be continuing to use this software. Am happy with what i've experienced so far

I had set up a new account not realising it wasn't linked to the Koinly one my accountant had originally set up. So I contacted customer service to see if they could merge the two ones I'd set up. They couldn't, which was fine as I suspected that to be the case. He did offer a refund though on my 2nd account, which I didn't ask for or expect and that sure was damn appreciated. Maybe he felt sorry for me seeing my losses for 2025 haha. Anyway, use Koinly for your tax returns y'all :)

I found Koinly extremely easy to use from start to finish. The platform handled my crypto transactions smoothly and saved me a lot of time and headaches during tax season. Everything felt intuitive, and I didn’t run into any complications. The only downside is the pricing—I do wish the plans were more affordable. I used koinly to prepare my tax document and paid for it, later realized there was no transaction on my wallet for this tax year. It was long shot but I explained what happened and requested for a refund knowing they had full authority on this decision. Koinly generously refunded my money and in doing so they have earned a loyal customer
