Amazingly Efficient Onboarding and Professional Phone Answering!
Wow! What an amazing onboarding experience with LEX Reception (after a horrible strugle with Smith.ai). I turned to LEX Reception after struggling for a week with Smith.ai trying to get them to set up my account. I called LEX Reception late Monday morning, and by the end of the day Monday, I had a new account, we had set up complex call-handling, everything was fully integrated with my Lawmatics CRM, and it was working flawlessly! Smith.ai just could not match the level of service and automation that LEX Reception has!
Patrick, my LEX Reception Onboarding Specialist was on the phone with me working through exactly what I wanted for the caller experience at the correct tone and empathy appropriate for my law practice. We worked through complex lead qualification workflows and scripts and friendly client scripts. The Onboarding Specialist used his decade+ of experience to help me make decisions about how best to design the workflow. They integrated my calendar links and will make appointments to my calendar for no extra charge.
And the Onboarding Specialist stayed on the phone until we got the automations fully working with my Lawmatics CRM. They can create Contacts AND Matters, unlike other companies that just push contact information into Lawmatics and you still manually would have to go in and create the matter.
I then called and tested the greeting and the Virtual Receptionist who answered was extremely friendly and helpful. I consider LEX Reception to be best-of-breed and am extremely happy I found them. They are giving me back hours in my day so that I can focus on clients and legal work. Thank you LEX Reception!

Overall Experience
My initial onboarding experience was really good. The onboarding rep helped make the transition to the platform easy and answered all of our questions.
As we got started, we ran into a few bumps with the agents, so we requested a weekly meeting with our account rep, Latasha. She has been super helpful, responsive, and great about addressing all of our questions and reviewing any issues that come up.
Since we started the weekly 30-minute meetings, we've seen significant progress and a lot of improvement. They've made a big difference in helping us get everything on track.

My $300 Plan Turned Into a $6,000 Bill
LexReception is one of the brands owned by AnywhereWorks. My experience was with another AnywhereWorks brand, AnswerConnect, and it was devastating.
I signed up for a ~$300/month plan. After exceeding my included minutes, they began charging my card hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars every day, reaching nearly $6,000 in about a week. The billing was extremely non-transparent, and I was never clearly informed that charges could increase this dramatically.
Please be very careful with LexReception and the other AnywhereWorks brands (AnswerConnect, AnswerForce, ServiceForge, WellReceived, HelloSells, and SignMore). Read the billing terms carefully and consider setting spending limits on your payment card. I am now pursuing legal action over my experience.
