About this business

Lucid Trading is a funded firm that helps futures traders practice their strategies, improve risk management, and build capital as they prepare to trade in live markets. The team at Lucid Trading feels that there is an opportunity to merge elements from the new funded firms and old-school proprietary trading desks. Funded firms are an excellent starting point for aspiring traders. However, once they have proven they are ready for live markets, they need to be supported more in the way a traditional prop desk. Lucid Trading’s goal is to provide a clear path forward through all these phases.

Denial of service to legitimate NinjaTrader competition winner

"I won a $25K evaluation account in the official NinjaTrader competition. Support agents (Eduard and William) explicitly refused service and KYC verification simply because my legal government ID has a single name (mononym), which is standard in India and globally recognized. They refused manual KYC, account updates, or alternative prize fulfillment for an un-traded account."

Unresolved $6,285 Payout – Over 25 Days of Delays & Refusal to Escalate

I am writing this review to highlight an unacceptable delay in processing an approved payout ($6,285.00) for account LFF05077022410025. Timeline of events: - August 6: My payout request was officially approved by Lucid Trading (Payout Certificate issued). - August 14: The initial crypto payout could not be processed by the receiving exchange and was automatically returned to Lucid Trading’s receiving wallet (5,622.18 USDC confirmed on-chain via Arbitrum, TxID: 0x3e2e6960bbd4c4af5faa87aab80b9676db30103c22895e72147eb87100ab15a4). - August 17: Support agent Sindha confirmed receiving the return details and stated verification takes 3 to 5 business days. I immediately requested to switch the payout method to USD (via WorkMarket/Wise). - August 31: 14 business days (25 calendar days) have passed since approval. Instead of simply re-issuing the payout in USD to my verified account, support keeps copy-pasting excuses blaming their payment processor and refusing to escalate the issue. The returned funds are verifiably in their wallet, and my alternative USD payout profile is fully verified and ready. Holding a trader's approved money indefinitely instead of releasing it is completely unacceptable. I expect management to intervene and process the USD payout immediately.

Just wanted to share my experience

Just wanted to share my experience — requested a payout from my Lucid Trading account and honestly wasn’t expecting it to move this fast. Payout was processed in about 10 minutes, and once it was sent, I had the funds in hand within 5 minutes. No delays, no back-and-forth, no chasing support for updates. For a futures prop firm, this kind of turnaround is rare. A lot of firms make you wait days for verification and transfer, so having the whole thing wrapped up in under 15 minutes total was a great surprise. Makes it a lot easier to trust the process and stay focused on trading instead of worrying about when payouts will actually land. Highly recommend if fast, reliable payouts matter to you.

Account miscorrection after a confirmed Rithmic outage, still unresolved after a week, direct questions ignored

Account LTE150-3I3NJ45K-TEST006. On 10 August 2026 there was a confirmed Rithmic outage affecting order execution and automatic liquidation. Lucid's own support agent, Ali, confirmed this in writing in ticket #215475428149374 and instructed customers not to trade, reset, or delete affected accounts, saying Lucid would reach out proactively once the affected accounts were identified. Because of that outage, a position on my account that I was actively trying to close was left open and unintentionally grown. My account was then debited 11,034.94 USD for that day, later partially corrected to 3,869.02 USD. I have gone through my own platform logs in detail. The highest unrealised loss my platform ever displayed on that trading day was 481.50 USD, and MNQ is worth 2.00 USD per index point. The full price range across every single fill on my account that day was 96.75 points. For 3,869.02 USD to be a correct figure on my actual 3 contract position, the market would have needed to move 645 points that day. That is not physically possible given the logged price range. I have asked three separate times, in writing, for an itemised breakdown of the trades and liquidations that produce this number, and I have never received one. On top of that, since 12 August my Rithmic connection has shown a balance of 7,722.98 USD on this account, continuously, across multiple sessions on different days, while the Lucid dashboard shows 146,691 USD for the same account. Lucid's own Operations Lead wrote to me directly that "the balance shown at Rithmic is the final state of your account after the correction." By that standard, one of these two numbers is simply wrong, and nobody has told me which one. Two support tickets on this issue were closed by Lucid before the promised technical team review ("update within 1 to 2 business days," per a different agent, Cynthia) had actually taken place. Two follow up messages went unanswered. After I sent a full written analysis with the exact log lines and timestamps on 17 August, the only reply I received was: "Our decision on this matter remains unchanged... we consider this matter closed." That reply did not address a single one of the specific points I raised. I am not saying Lucid is fundamentally dishonest as a company. I am saying that in a dispute involving a technical failure Lucid itself confirmed, I have not received a single substantive answer to a documented, arithmetic discrepancy in nine days. I have the full platform logs and the entire written correspondence and I am happy to share them with anyone who asks.

Lucid trading racist/scam banning after eval complete

I recently saw many videos and myself seen that many beginner traders complaining about getting banned for requesting payout after completing their eval profit target. This prop firm also silently bans users based in india because of (racism, discrimination). To test both complaints i created 2 different accounts to see if they are real or fake, On my first account i bought an eval 25k account then i succesfuly completed their profit target and made around 300$ then requested for profit to see if they were banning small/beginner traders. And i would say this honestly that they banned me with note "Suspicious activity detected" When all i did was just request a payout. After that i created 2nd account to test the indian users ban (racism/discrimination) then i completed the verification succesfuly with all required details which then they held my account in "Account under review" for 4 days i thought this is normal for every user but no... After 4 days of wait these people banned me for being an indian. Since i cannot force anybody to not use this racist, low iq, unprofessional prop firm. I am just gonna write this review here for future traders that are looking for good prop firms please do not use this prop firm, they ban beginner/some traders after completing eval and on verifications. If you are looking for an better prop firm i would suggest tradify (no racism, no discrimination, instant support, fast payouts, no scams like these lucid trading.)
