Macros updated their website and the site and service has been terrible. 1. The website does not clearly state the delivery date. You select a specific date only to get a different date the food is delivered. 2. They have not sent any sms delivery notications for the last month. 3. Food arrives unannounced when you are not at home only be spoilt 4. Customer service is beyond frustrating. I have emailed 6 times repeatedly asking confirmation of my delivery dates only to be told check the website and your account 5. The instructions customer service provides to check your account are not consistent with how the website works. Perhaps check this before you provide to customers.
I have used Macros for 3 years however will not order. Do not order from them the service is very poor.
I've been a member for a long time and spend more than $1000 a month with Macros. Today I cancelled because twice, customer support was so useless I've decided to go to an alternative.
I emailed because for a second time a delivery never arrived but the money was taken. I understand things go wrong, but when I email for assistance I expect a proper response. Not some canned response that closes the ticket immediately, and upon follow up, you never get a response.
I'm taking my $12,000 a year elsewhere until their customer support lifts their game and actually responds to my questions.
I've been with Macros only a couple of weeks, on the 3rd week of my subscription, I purchased 15 meals that never arrived at my door. When I wrote to customer support they said the order was scheduled for the following week, but it turned out to be the following order I made (an order I placed in advance). So I've paid $176 dollars for them to fill up their pockets leaving me starving and with no budget to buy more food.
PS: customer support takes ages to answer to emails and don't even bother calling them, it's just a joke!

Let me tell you a story of 2 orders as a first time customer.
Order No. 1: Vanished into thin air (or, more accurately, a "logistics issue"). Sure, they offered a measly $200 off for the next 8 orders as an apology. 8 measly orders to win back my trust, my time, and my rumbling stomach.
Order No. 2: Poof! Gone like a forgotten Tupperware in the fridge. Apparently, my order "failed to upload." My bad for not telepathically transmitting my meal choices, I guess.
Cancellation Tango: So, I cancelled the whole subscription fiasco. But guess what? That $200 discount vanished faster than a free sample at Costco. Poof! Now it's a measly $25 for the next 8 orders. Talk about shrinking portions and shrinking apologies!
Oh, the plot thickens! Apparently, Macros isn't just the Bermuda Triangle of meal prep orders, they're also the Houdini of accounts. Apparently that was the reason the $200 or $25 discount code not working.
Seems like Macros is a company that likes cancelling orders like they’re cancelling gym memberships after the New Year’s resolution fades.
Do yourself a favor: Skip the Macros misery. Order from a reputable company like My Muscle Chef. Save yourself the disappointment and deflated hopes of getting your orders.
Terrible service. Delivery company doesn’t care to deliver. Meals thrown on the ground or just not notified at all, won’t follow instruction. Was given a $40 credit and told it would be automatically applied which never happened. Today’s order paid for last week says it’s delivered but it never arrived, had no messages or calls. No point in trying to call either because the phone line automatically hangs up. MACROS. Please don’t even bother with your automated reply here. Just refund my money that you have taken.

Great food, probably the best ready made meal services we have tried......BUT...the delivery and customer service! My meals were left out in front of my neighbours house and had to be discarded, emailed through the website and a week with no response. Also the website is terrible.
Due for a delivery today, if it goes pear shaped again I don't think I'll continue to be able to use them :(
Very poor or non-existent service. If service is unrealiable, I am very concern on how they prepare the food (is it safe?). Order not fulfilled, no reply from customer support over three days. No refund provided to date.

I've been using macros mealplans for approximately 6 weeks.
While the food is great, and I highly recommend, the service is almost non existent.
The delivery company delivering the product is a joke and take no responsibility in the role they play.
Deliveries get left unattended on the footpath creating a serious food safety risk along with a high chance of product being stolen.
Not worth the anxiety or inconvenience of waiting at home to recieve.
Every time you call the phone number all you get is an answering service.

We thought we give MACROS a go when they said new customers would be given $20 discounts over 4 weeks for meals purchased. We left MACROS after just 2 weeks. Had problems from week one when a purchased meal was omitted. Despite requests for clarification, their responses were not clear. In Week 2, we purchased the 10 requisite meals but were given credit only for the Week 1 missed meal. The promised ongoing discount was absent. Queried again their accounting process, but their initial reply made no sense. The lack of respect & courtesy was apparent when two further emails requesting clarification went unanswered. Maybe the advertised discount was never intended to be given? We are still owed the promised credit. This lack of integrity has left a bad taste in the mouth – not that the meals were tasty. They were sometimes dry or overcooked.
Be very attentive to how MACROS charges you. Complain to Fair Trading in NSW where they are located and Fair Trading in the state or Territory where you live if they mischarge you. I will be doing that!
Definitely not recommended!

So convenient and comes fresh not frozen so tastes fresh, well cooked and excellent. They calculate the calories and macros for you so no more calorie counting, meal prepping or grocery shopping! Also very surprising to see so much variety on the menu with seafood, chicken, beef, pork, tofu, legumes and other veg options as well as Asian style meals. I just had the green curry prawn noodle one and it was so good. Their kombucha and fresh juices are actually much better than the ones I can get at Woollies/Coles too. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

It’s such a competitive market out there but Macros has the best formulated meals offering variety, tastiness, calories and great balance of nutrients. I’ve tried many brands but for me, Macros really stands out. Their options are pretty interesting and intriguing. Lots to choose from. They offer a lot of promotions as well throughout the year (this makes it so affordable) as well as different plans to meet dietary requirements (weight loss, muscle gain, vegan, lean)

Love the convenience of their meals. Tastes great, too - my favourite is the chicken tenders with spuds and smoky mayo - yum!
Would also recommend the lamb and shepherds rosemary pie.
Their meals are also very well insulated with ice when packed, I don’t have to worry about it going off after they deliver and leave on my porch.
