I signed up for MailerLite & got terminated with no warning.

I signed up for MailerLite, purchased a paid plan, connected my domain, authenticated my email, imported my subscriber list, and spent significant time setting up my campaign. Before my first email was ever sent, my account was terminated for alleged policy violations. No warning was provided before the termination, and I was not given an opportunity to address any compliance concerns before losing access. The most frustrating part was the timing. I was in the middle of a launch and had already invested substantial time configuring the platform. I understand email providers have compliance requirements, but I would have appreciated a clearer explanation, a warning, or a verification process before being charged and then terminated. As a result, I lost valuable launch time and now have to migrate my email marketing infrastructure elsewhere.

Suspends my account after I spent time creating campaigns, authenticating my domain AND PAYING FOR A SUBSCRIPTION. A WHOLE DAY gone to waste setting this up. Filing a report via PayPal for a refund. Ridiculous.

Great customer service and great features.

Fair is fair! I gave this company a low review because of initial difficulties. However, they really stepped up and did everything possible to improve it. And now that I've been using it, I find their system is very intuitive and packed with a huge number of features. So I'm giving them five stars. Glad I switched.

MailerLite did not meet our expectations

MailerLite did not meet our expectations as an email outreach platform. While the interface is user-friendly and campaign setup is straightforward, the overall performance was disappointing. Despite achieving reasonable open rates, the platform generated very low engagement and failed to produce meaningful responses from prospects. A major concern was deliverability, as there were indications that some emails may have been filtered into spam or promotions folders, limiting visibility among recipients. Additionally, the platform provided limited support in converting opens into actual conversations or business opportunities.

I was banned for absolutely no reason

I was banned for absolutely no reason. Wasted so much time creating campaigns in this product just to get banned. It's cheap for a reason. Avoid.

Account terminated without warning despite zero spam complaints

I had an opt-in email list — all legitimate, all consensual signups. My account had zero spam complaints. Without any warning, MailerLite terminated my account citing anti-spam violations. No specific explanation, no opportunity to correct anything, no appeal process. Avoid Mailerlite like the plague. You're putting your business at risk by using them. ADDITION: Regarding MailerLite's response below, note that they can't specify a single thing that I did wrong. Instead, they just use vague, general language. Why? Because they're clearing not telling the truth but don't want to admit publicly that they screwed up. Clear case of CYA. BTW, as far as I know, the email that got me banned (since it's no longer on my dashboard which I can still access for the moment) is one in which I asked my subscribers to tell me what's going on with their job search. And I asked them to reply to the email. Which is a practice that Mailerlite encourages people to use. I can't include the link in this review but it's point #11 in a blog post on the Mailerlite website titled "18 effective strategies to improve email deliverability in 2025", So again, I got banned for sending the most mild email possible. And their response is to lie and gaslight about it. Shame on them!

DO NOT Trust

I strongly advise against uploading any contacts to this company. I used MailerLite to send my newsletter to a small, private group of subscribers. All contacts were added manually, and I have full consent and permission recorded on my side. Despite this, I received an automated message stating there was an issue with my account, and it was terminated without any prior communication or clarification. There was no opportunity to speak with a real person or resolve the matter. After the termination, I had to spend time removing my subscribers and cleaning up my data. This experience was unprofessional and disruptive to my business. ,

Banned as soon as I paid

This is ridiculous. I opened an account and sent a test mail to myself to see if it worked and to have an idea of the end result; 2 days later I decided to by it, so I paid and as soon as I finished my account was suspended and later terminated... I didn't send even ONE email except for the test one (before buying)... So they took the money and closed my account, saying that I've violeted their terms of service... how? I'm still waiting for a reply from customare service. Edit: I'm writing this in response of what MailerLite responded to what I've written above. Could you explain this "other factors" then? Every time I asked I didn't get a clear response about it or I didn't get a response at all.

I've been a big fan of MailerLite for going on a decade now. Their support and tools make them standout from the rest, and are far better than any of their competitor platforms. Couldn't recommend them highly enough for a rock solid email marketing platform!

Nowadays I appreciate highly when a service/product comes with human and adequate support and this is the case here. It was not the first time I needed to address the support, but today Betânia was lightning fast to help me out. Keep up the good work, guys!

I’m very satisfied with MailerLite. The platform is easy to use, intuitive, and reliable. Creating email campaigns and automations is simple, even without advanced technical knowledge. I also appreciate the clean interface, useful features, and helpful support. Overall, MailerLite is a great tool for managing email marketing, and I would definitely recommend it.

Blocked the account without any reason or even one action for a normal product. Wouldn’t try using it again. Plenty other better options out there. Also there pre sales pages are horrible

Mailerlite is a lightweight, low cost solution for bulk emailing. It does the job although the edit functions are clunky to use. It is GDPR compliant, with automated unsubscribe links. It can also track opens and clicks, but you don't have to enable that. Support via email is prompt and helpful.
