What reviewers say
AI generated
Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Reviewers are deeply frustrated with the unhelpful customer service, finding it extremely difficult to get timely assistance or proper issue resolution through phone lines. People also frequently encounter rude and aggressive staff members across different store departments, leading to deeply uncomfortable interactions during their regular shopping visits.
However, some people mentioned that certain store employees are genuinely welcoming, kind, and quick to provide helpful assistance whenever required by shoppers. A few other consumers also felt that specific grocery items, such as fresh produce and delicious specialty food products, met their everyday expectations nicely.

Disgraceful! Will never shop here again!!! The arrest recently made of a young man who was simply taking a fruit cup from a throw away bin and you guys had the audacity to press charges for something that was going to the dump!!?! You guys are a disgrace!
Worst thing I've ever seen a company do, having this boy arrested. Shame on you. This is what's wrong with the world. Best wishes to the poor boy, from Austria. Shame on the company.
The deli meat smelled like old feet and feta cheese. The manager kept winking at me and it felt like he was spying on me every corner I went around. The poor employees looked overworked and famished. I would recommend passing by this place
So help me understand you guys arrestedan autistic boy over $110 in food that was being thrown away last time I checked when something is thrown away. It is worth nothing so in all reality, you guys didn’t arrest him for $110 worth of food. You guys arrested him over trash and then you guys proceeded to build this elaborate file and keep tabs on him over several months and then you finally say something over again Food that was thrown away, which comes to the some total of $0.00 I used to shop at Myer all the time now at Walmart in Payless you guys are a disgrace to the community. You guys are a disgrace to that poor boy and that family you guys need To do. What’s right if you have any sense in your heart and soul to make it up to that boy and I hope you guys get shut down and or have a lost suit so big that you’re gonna be forced to close several of your stores just to pay for this poor boys paying suffering shame on Meijer
Worked for Meijer for over 15 years and based on my last 5 or so the arresting of the deli worker doesn’t surprise me at all. This company has fallen so far from what it once was. The Seven Hills location must be managed by complete garbage people. I’m glad that I quit working for this disgusting company 12 years ago as they didn’t care about their hourly employees then and clearly things haven’t changed.
If i could i would give 0 stars this company absolutely disgusts me and i think they don't deserve all the millions theyre getting while they get someone arrested over 110 dollars.
Wish I could rate this place lower. Absolutely disgusting to have a special needs kid arrested over fruit cups that are in garbage. You will never receive my business ever again at any location. Shame on you.
